Grog & Grist Deli & Market

Great food, terrible service! I have been coming here since I was a little kid to get a sandwich before a day on the lake. There food is always really good and fresh but the people that work behind the counters are so rude that I can't continue to spend my money at their business anymore, unfortunately. I've waited in line for over 20 minutes before, and as soon as I get up to the counter I am totally ignored for another 10. It is usually busy, but at least say hi. After waiting for ten minutes the cashier couldn't ignore my stares anymore. Finally he turned around and huffily said "What do you want." And I said, "I just want to order 2 sandwiches." He sighed, rolled his eyes and said "You and everybody else." So trying to be nice I said "Well can you take my order?" And he rolled his eyes again and said " Can't you see that there are like 20 people ahead of you?" And I said, "Yes, can I still give you my order and come back in a few minutes and get it?" he said, "If that's really what you want to do then fine, make my day!" very rudely. So I said "Never mind then, I guess you don't want my money" and left. When another customer who had been waiting in line behind me saw this, and heard how this guy was acting, she left too. After 30 minutes and that kind of response when I finally get acknowledged, I was pissed. It's usually like that in there, some college kid with no customer service skills but this time was just so rude I couldn't take it, but they lost another loyal customer. Keep it up and watch a another local company go out of business. It's sad.
