Our Nook is great for reading a book at a quiet table in the garden in the afternoon. This is an old fly boy bar and a favorite of the original Von Braun team at NASA Redstone, back in the Rocket Boys' and Apollo days. 4-01-'17... besides being April Fools' and Saint Dental Professionals Day... is the 10th Anniversary of the resurrected pub, seemingly under a different ownership, in keeping with all of the old charm. Parking is adequate. The service is quite friendly, most of the time. The drinking chums and atmosphere are what you'd hope for from a good brew haus anywhere in the world. Sometimes, it gets pretty festive. The beer menu has always been the very best, with more varieties of brew than you are likely to find in most taverns. It's clean and cozy and smoke free. They added a whiskey room, for those who like chasers to clean their pipes. The snack food could be better, but I won't ever complain about the German Night's chicken schnitzel. We all participate in "Free the Hops"... a political beer libation liberation movement. Nook also supports our many local and regional micro brews, like Straight to Ale and Blue Pants, Good People and Yellow Hammer.

This a great place for a brew as there are many on their selection list. I don't go very often but have been going here for 7 years. Never had a bad experience. As a response to the seminole24, the owner is not a woman. Is it possible that you were too drunk to remember which bar you were in? That don't sound like the Nook.

Absolutely horrible owner she is just rude and disgusting. She is very disrespectful to her employees. Hard to enjoy your beer when you listen to her complaining about her employees to the customers.

I would tell them not to bother. The general manager is horrible and completely rude. The owner loves to hear the sound of his own voice and will not give you a chance to enjoy your beer. Although the food and beer selection is good you can go to liquor express and get the same beers.

The Nook has largest beer selection in Huntsville, North Alabama, and maybe all of Alabama. You can stop by to enjoy great beers in a smoke free environment. The food selected is limited, but item are tasty.
