Malikane Hair Braiding

Been getting my hair done here for a year. Always getting wonderful compliments on hair. I had a job interview and I did not keep business card of stylist who does my hair. Called the owner and she arranged for another stylist to do my hair. The other stylist was working on my hair and my original stylist came in on her day off to take care of me. Both of the stylists do fantastic work and I felt very confident going to my interview. I appreciate all three ladies for their help. I see why they have so many long time customers.

I came to this place to get micros, first I was told it was human hair being used and it was not. This hair has been tangled since they put it in. When I let them know about my dissatisfaction and went back, all the did was rebraid the ends and put mousse on them, which did not help the situation at all. I have only been able to wear these braids in a ball the whole time they've been in my head and I spent $190 on these. I have never spent that much on micros and to not be satisfied is crazy. Then they did not braid below my hair, so they knotted the braids along with my real hair. When I asked for a discount with taking them down, they would not accommodate me with that either. They do not have good customer service and do not care if their clients are satisfied. I would not recommend them to anyone or ever go back.

I have been a customer at Malikane Hair Braiding for over a year now. Not only myself, but I also bring my daughter. The customer service is excellent, and their timeliness is very efficient. I highly recommend Malikane for your braiding experience. I am truly satisfied with my experience, and customer elation is their number one priority.

I've been going to the shop since 2009, awesome service and braids.

Can't complain. Made my appointment, got there at 8 am, they allowed me to eat my breakfast while we picked out the hair I wanted. Started promptly at 8:30 am with two braiders and I walked out at 2 pm, awesome. No it's not the Westin Spa, but it's a nice environment with a television. I will be going back for more micros b/c they turned out beautiful.

For hair braiding, I love going to Malikane! They have extremely high quality work; the braiders ask you exactly how you want your hair to be, their prices are very reasonable, and it lasts a long time! I feel like family every time I go there! Their salon is very clean, and their staff very friendly. They try to keep clients entertained with movies/tv shows playing on Netflix. They try to accommodate both walk-ins and those with an appointment. I would suggest confirming your appointment the day before, however, to ensure they have a spot reserved for you when you arrive. Also don't arrive late, or they will accommodate a walk-in and you'll end up waiting (maybe what happened to the other person who gave a bad review). Overall, I have no negative comments about Malikane and I would definitely recommend them to my friends/family!

This place is RIDICULOUS. I got my hair done here twice and the first time they were really good and my hair lasted a long time, but this second time i went I had an appointment at 9:00 a.m they lady did not even come and do my hair until 2:30 that AFTERNOON! I was already pissed about that. Then after only a couple of days of having my hair up (micro braids) I lost THREE braids, and every time I went to pull my hair up no matter how loose i left my ponytail I was losing braids. I went to get them redone and they told me my hair was too thin, soft, and natural. First of all I have VERY thick hair where the hell did they get thin from? At night roaches come out all over their salon and they WILL tell you lies about their business. The hair they use for micro braids is TERRIBLE and becomes stiff after about a week. I wouldn't send my worse enemy here!!!

They are horrible! unprofessional and careless about the service u recieve and my hair came down after 2 or3 days.
