Dragon Gate

This place is disgustingly dirty and the owner is extremely rude and made a racist comment that "all you americans the same" he said to me and the individual in a wheelchair I accompanied here (I'm an RN) on sunday afternoon about 1pm. Do not go at night, they dim the lights to hide how dirty the place is, go in the day and you will see how dirty it is. A few things I could handle, I'm not a picky person, but I am disgusted by this place.
Here is a list of our experience:
- After I ordered, I looked around and was thinking "wow dirty". I've never put in a complaint to health dept but I'm going to
- The drinking glasses were as described in prior reviews, dirty. Fork had a rust spot on it.
- the 26 yo male in wheelchair ordered "6 steamed wontons", they him charged for 3 wonton soups
- they said 1/2 price sushi and charged him 16.95 for 5 pieces of tuna, and 16.95 for 5 pieces of salmon.
- I wanted an iced tea, they had no unsweet, so I ordered sweet. The owner made it at the counter from a big can of King Kullen brand iced tea mix, $3 w/ no free refills.
- fried rice was very dark brown, not overcooked, but like from a dirty fry pan.
- the tv at the sushi bar, they claimed did not work, no music either
- Saporo beer $6.50? maybe, but don't pour in the dirty glasses
- a man was making wontons in the restaurant seating area, no gloves

He got the bill $76 and it added up correctly with the overpriced items and no 50% off Sushi as they claimed. I always tip 15-25% even for poor service I'll leave something, I've worked on tips and respect that. But I was so upset with this businesses management and he was the server too so no tip was added on the credit card receipt. As we headed for the door, the owner came quickly and said "no tip, no tip" and holds out the receipt and a pen for us to add tip. I said "we're not tipping because we were overcharged, if you want a tip take it out of the $76 bill". Right away he replies "all you americans are the same, look at your car, you have nice car (implying we have money to gift him, c'mon)" We keep leaving He says "karma will get you" and continues rambling as the door closed.
