Gault Heating's balance of personal professionalism is second to none. Letting strangers into your home is never without some apprehension. Every Gault technician I've met over the years has been personable, considerate of my home, and worked in a VERY CLEAN manner. I strongly recommend them.

I am here to tell you that this company has done right by me.

Our 27 year old air conditioner gave out on us just as we were getting into this recent hot and humid patch of weather. I have severe chronic asthma and was already down with bronchitis. I was suffering greatly. Glenn Gault came out and gave us three estimates for what WE stated our needs were. He was respectful and didn't try to "hard sell" anything else. We chose the products that we felt would serve our needs the best. We chose to replace the old furnace at the same time because it saved us on the labor fees and he was kind enough to give us a discount for buying both at the same time. These things don't always happen when you are ready for them so we were in need of financing part of the purchase. Once financing was set up, Glenn scheduled us right away. His crew arrived on time and began working right away, they worked throughout the entire day to replace all of our old equipment with the new. They took special care of sealing up all of the connections going to the outside so that we don't have to worry about water and such. They installed everything neatly and compactly so as not to intrude on our other areas at all. They completely cleaned up the entire work area so I wasn't even able to tell that someone had been there and they hauled away all of the old equipment.

Once the tech was done with the install of the new thermostat, he showed me how to use it, showed me all of the things that had been done and asked if I had any questions. He had turned the air on so that it would begin to cool the very hot house. Within an hour, I could tell a difference. By three hours later my house went from 81 degrees to a very cool 72.

I am totally impressed with this company, the quality of their work, and the equipment that they carry. The Lennox air conditioner runs so quit I can't even tell i'ts running.. I can't wait for winter to try out the new furnace.!

A Ripped off Customer

Gault came to fix our air conditioner, and sent a very nice young man, who I believe is the grandson and current manager. He told us our unit needed to be rewired, because wires had gotten cut or mixed up by a contractor. He told us that he would return, add the coolant and make sure it all worked as soon as we got the wiring fixed. He added that there would be no additional service charge. We got the rewiring done, called Gault, and this time they sent two workers. They put in the coolant. When my husband explained about the service charge, they insisted that we had to pay it. So we paid them $119.00, and they left, without making sure that the unit even worked. We ran the air, and the house got cool, than warmer and warmer, as the coolant leaked out, something that they should have stuck around to check. My husband called Gault to return and fix this, and not charge a service charge again since they never really finished the job. They made an appointment and never showed up. My husband called once or twice more, and we saw their van a few houses down, but they have never either returned calls nor returned to the house. We are looking for a real heating/cooling contractor, and we're out the money.
