Regal Recycling

I've taken my scrap metals to Regal for years, until just the other day, now I will not be return to Regals for ANYTHING. I took back a small trailer of sheet iron and was unloading it by hand until the crane operator insisted on lifting the items from my trailer. He was not careful whatsoever and tore the side off my trailer when he lifted a piece out almost sending my trailer into my new truck. He did not say sorry, did not make up for it, didn't even set foot outside of his machine. I went inside to collect my very small about of money for the scrap and told the man at the counter about the incident, seeking for reimbursement for the damage done to my property. The man laughed when I asked for them to fix it or pay for it. When at the same time admitting that his employee made the mistake (he saw it happen from the window) and still did nothing about it. If any one reads this, STAY AWAY from Regals. They are scan artist and very unprofessional business owners.

Not the cleanest place to drive the truck back in, fair on prices, but the workers there act shady towards you and even talk to you as if you are a p.o.s.

I went here because it was close and a big facility... thinking I would be taken care of... LOWEST PAY OUT OF ALL! Not to mention I organized my own metals and this young punk working there refused to weight them all separately to pay me for each metal and weighed it all at once because he was affraid he had to do some work. It wasn't till after I cashed out that they went through my goods and helped themselves while separating the metals. DON'T WASTE THE AGGRAVATION! Go closer to Detroit to get top dollar and treated rite. I literally got a third of what I could've gotten. The Lingenfelter is the real guy that builds race engines which happens to be the owners good friend and that's why he gave a good review. Now I see why the place is so big... from ripping off customers and keeping all the profit to themselves... I know the value of metals. When I went back in the shop to get my items I didn't want to sell, their employees had a few things set aside that they wanted to keep.

Ive been going ro Regal Recycling for years now and they have always been helpful. I bought an interior for my camaro for 100 bucks, tires for my saturn for 40 bucks, and thist goes on. Regals is the best scrap yard in michigan

I was driving home from work when one of their vehicles lost debris that slammed the roof of my car and damaged it. When I called, I left a message describing the incident and no one called me back. I called the following day, during business hours, and was passed around to three people. Then, Aaron told me that he had a truck in the area at that time that had a blowout on the vehicle it was towing. He then said that he would do nothing for me unless I have the debris with me. IT HAPPENED ON 1-94W, SO THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME TO SAFELY RETRIEVE DERIS FROM THE ROAD. Now, I have to file a mini-tort claim against the company, but Aaron claims that he doesn't have the insurance information for the vehicle and it could take a week for him to find it and call me back.

Regal's Recycling in Howell, Michigan is the most unorganized business I have ever seen. They are no where near earth friendly and they're are always work place accidents for unsafe conditions. The owner, Vern, seems to believe that paying fines is easier to do than comply with EPA and OLSHA standards. He has his employees drive hazardous vehicles and does not seem to provide adequate and safe training for his employees concerning demolition techniques. I would never recommend this company to an enemy let alone a friend. Just the chemical spills and hazardous waste that they put into the ground is enough to keep from giving them a nod. But the icing on the cake is the poor organization of the office staff, lack of concern for employees, and blatant lack of respect for the environment and the health of the surrounding community that really concerns not only me but most Livingston County residents.

Thank you Regal Recycling I recently wrecked my jeep and spoke to Matt who was quick to help and very understanding. In no time flat he had his truck out here to pick it up and paid me far more than I thought.

Regal has so much metal that you could build everything in the usa with it ! You don't have to be a china man to figure that one out!Regal recycling has so many affordable car parts that you will not believe how much money you can save.Regal even sells used and new merchandise steel for very affordable amounts and lots of car tires!thanks Vern, for the dodge truck parts and plastic free trim I probably saved 5 or 600 compared to mopar part dealers!

Regals is a company I have dealt with for years both on a personal level and in a business relationship. They are professional, fair, and overall a good company to deal with.
