X-rays
A panoramic x-ray can provide a complete mouth image in a single file. This includes teeth, jaws, and other surrounding soft tissue. These are extremely helpful in providing the most accurate diagnoses and treatment options for a variety of dental health issues because the dentist gets a 180-degree view of the mouth.

Teeth Cleaning
Professional dental cleaning is one of the most straightforward options. While coming in for a regular check-up, our dentist will remove tartar and plaque (a sticky film that forms on the tooth surface and hardens) from above and below the teeth’ gumline. If you have few gum disease signs, our oral hygienist may recommend a professional tooth cleaning more than twice a year. It is essential that you remember that two-times-a-year cleansing does not cure the disease but is an excellent preventative measure against it.

Bridges
Dental bridges can be used when there is too much space at the jawline between the placed crown and bone. This is used to combat excessive gum recession which can allow for advanced decay. If our periodontists diagnose you with periodontal disease, you may need a deep cleaning. Also known as scaling and root planing, this procedure is designed to eliminate large deposits of plaque and tartar. After your deep cleaning, your gums should return to a healthy, pink state.
