Rkg New Orleans Cajun PO

Good Food! I enjoyed R.K.G. My family is from New Orleans so I grew up on Creole & Cajun cooking. Unless you want to travel to New Orleans or spend all day cooking R.K.G. is an above decent alternative. The menu has everything! Alligator, Boudin, Crawfish, Oxtails, BBQ, Burgers, Shrimp, Stuffed Crabs, etc. He makes a seafood gumbo with whole crabs. The Crawfish Etouffee was very tasty. I personally make mine a little thinner. And, the gumbo was very flavorful and full of crab, shrimp, chicken & sausage. However, I personally like my gumbo minus the okra. I have only been during lunch. But, I plan to try it in the evening when they have a live band. And, the owner is very accommodating. He let me try everything. He catered to me. Good food. Excellent service! They went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend R.K.G.

The food is actually pretty good, at a reasonalbe price. The service is a little slow, so make sure you have some time to wait!

This has to be the worst restaunt that I have ever eaten...oh wait I never got my food!!!! My boyfriend got his sandwich and it was cold and the bread was stale. The casher could not count change for the gentleman before us, and could not figure out how to run a credit card. The manager had to do that for her.
