Stupid Theater! Won't take ANY FORM OF PAYMENT for PARKING. So I parked on the street and got towed!! Edwards jeopardized my safety for its cash only parking policy and cost me time, money and Hassel! Thanks Edwwrds. I won't be back!

Me and my cousins went there to see straight out of Compton and were told we could not bring a child in. So we lost our 3dollars to park had to refund our 10.25 tickets to purchase 16.00 tickets to the next show so we can take the child back home. but when we get back to the theatre and begin watching our movie a child starts crying omg I was missed

Theaters and restrooms are always clean. Movie theater popcorn is excellent. Movies are always first rate. Personnel are friendly, area is safe, parking is close. Yes, we have to pay but we are inside the loop in Houston. Kids go on Friday night so don't go on Friday night when they attend. Pick one of the other days of the week. Good specials on concessions and movies if you sign up for their frequent attendance card.

This is the pre driving years hangout for all teenagers in Houston-beware, they take over the place. No student discounts on weekends, and you have to pay for parking in the garage. The theater is nicer than most of the theaters in Houston and you can preorder or order through Fandango. Regal cards get you free movie tickets and free snacks, but those vouchers do expire. I actually prefer going to Dunvale, but don't mind this theater at all.

The theatre was ok on the insi...

The theatre was ok on the inside with a fairly nice environment. It was hard to find the front of the building though, I guess due to the parking situation. I don't pay for movie parking if I can help it. I would choose another theatre because I feel that parking should be part of the normal business model, just as it is for any grocery or home improvement store. So when I visited this theatre on a weekday evening for a free preview movie screening, I parked about two blocks away in the shopping strip on Richmond, probably near the tanning salon or Chipotle's. I parked in the row away from the strip center, toward the street to avoid taking a closer space for customers of that center. There was ample parking, but I realize that all the movie theatre patrons could not fit here, nor should they have to walk half a mile or more to see their movie.

After reading the other reviews here, I guess I am very lucky that my car was not towed. Where exactly are people parking that they are getting towed? And what day of the week? Although I parked at the shopping strip center on Richmond, the Costco shopping complex on the other side of Richmond has pretty much unlimited parking. But of course it is not actually fair to park at another business's property; the theatre should provide its customer's parking onsite.

If somebody at the theatre is still conniving with a tow company to unethically take people's cars from nearby vacant lots on Sundays (unless there is signage specifically prohibiting such parking), rather than pay several hundred dollars for the impound fee, I would prefer to go out and buy a junker car and park it there intentionally, and have it rigged with an explosive surprise for the tower. Ok, maybe that is too over-the-top like a Hollywood special effect. I would not want to injure anybody. Maybe it should simply be rigged with an electrical shocking device and/or an indelible ink spray and/or something to cause the tower's tires to get flats. I certainly don't advocate any illegal activity, such as spying at a distance and then sniping to shoot out their tires, etc., but hey, mess with the car at your own risk of learning a lesson!

never EVER go to this theater!!!!!!

Never EVER come to this sh*thole of a theater! You have been warned! 1) you must PAY to park! 2) their ticket prices are two dollars per person more THAN ANY OTHER THEATER IN TOWN 3) their concessions are approximately 30% more costly than other theaters locally 4) if you DO go there pay the nine bucks for valet parking (it's a rip-off, I know, but trust me, do it) or YOU WILL BE TOWED!!!!! my wife and I spent 21 bucks on two tickets to a show, another 22 bucks for a small popcorn and two drinks and 300 freaking dollars to get our car out of impound because we didn't valet! I HOPE THE PLACE BURNS DOWN TOMORROW~!!!!! Never EVER EVER EVER EVER catch a movie at this DUMP! I only wish there was a "zero stars" option. I would rather eat a turd than ever return to this horrible sh*thole.

Another Example of Poor Customer Service at Edwards

For what you pay to view a movie at this location - plus parking - you would think the movie listings would be correct. After using three different sights to verify a movie time, my husband and I arrived for a 7:15 show to find that it did not start until 8:15. The same happened to the couple in line behind us... The manager was dismissive after abruptly informing the four of us that they were only linked to fandango - not the Houston Chronicle, not flixter, not mr. movie times.com - all of which were accessible easily by cell phone - which my husband showed him. Funny, the three of them showed one time - only Edwards showed another time. Seems to us that somebody forgot to do their job and update the other sights so that they would have the correct information. Rather than leave our money with the man who would rather fix popcorn machines than offer a politely worded apology for the confusion - we left. DON'T GO HERE AND SPEND MONEY TO BE TREATED RUDELY. RENT FROM CABLE OR EVEN BLOCKBUSTER - CHEAPER AND YOU GET TO CONTROL THE REMOTE!!!
