Pinnacle Pediatric Dentistry

The experience at Pinnacle is beyond great! Dr. Shaw and staff are always warm and friendly. Although very contemporary the environment is very family oriented. The service is exceptional. My son had a surgical procedure in office. They were excellent at relieving his fears as well as mine. I’m comforted in knowing my son is receiving the best care in Texas.

Dr. Shaw and all her staff are the best dentist office I have ever been. They take care of every detail, Dr. Shaw is wonderful with children. My daughter needed an extraction and they schedule the appointment and procedure the same day. I am very pleased with the service and the uttermost care of Dr. Shaw. Dr. Shaw personal follow up and office costumer service is the best.

Dr.Shaw and staffs are wonderful, including Gail. They are very patient, kind and couteous. My son was having a tooth ache and Gail and staffs worked me in ASAP. People, there is always two sides to a story. Do not believe the negative things you read. If you want to know the truth about Pinnacle Pediatric Dentistry, just call and schedule a vist with Gail or Jowana. They are very nice people.......

Liked her a lot. The only negative I have is the price. It was $814.00 for two cavities (yes almost $1000 - for two cavities). My insurance company must have had a field day laughing at the ridiculous cost they charged as they cut their check for $120 and I got the rest of the bill. Just be prepared for a cost about 3x higher than any other dentist so you can budget accordingly.

I'm not sure what kind of expectations Claudia G. has of a pediatric dentist, but let me tell you something...clearly she hasn't been out there much. We LOVED Dr. Shaw and would recommend her to anyone without hesititation. I have 3 boys ages 4,5,&6 and they are, to say the least, a force to be reckoned with especially when they're all together. I've been to several different dentists and Dr. Shaw is the first to handle my 3 boys simultaneously with ease and patience and with a fun and super positive demeanor. She was so sweet and made sure to make all of my boys comfortable with the process. When my oldest started to get nervous and challenging, instead of getting short and stern (like other Docs we've had), she and her staff went as far as to show my oldest each and every tool that would be used during the cleaning and explain how they would be used. They reassured him that he wouldn't feel any pain and he really responded to them. He is a very cautious type A personality and has a major fear of any kind of doctor. She was the first dentist to be able to put him at ease and make him feel relaxed. She actually sang to him throughout the entire cleaning and it seemed to really help him feel relaxed. She has a great demeanor with children which is what I've found lacking in most "pediatric" dentists. You can tell the Dr. Shaw really loves kids and has a passion for what she does. During the visit she called me over to point out a few things with their cleaning and with their x-rays that I needed to take note of, which is way more than any other dentist has offered. I really like the fact that my husband and i were welcomed in the back during x-rays and during the cleaning, many dentists don't allow parents to be with their kids during the cleaning and my kids have definitely had a hard time dealing with that in the past, so kuddos for the "parents allowed" policy. She gave me lots of good up to date information about how to care for their teeth based on studies she has researched, and explained why she used some of the techniques and advice she gives. Again...I really hope you give Dr. Shaw a chance, as an experienced parent who's had several other dentists I can say without hesitation that she is to date the best we've had and we will stay with Dr. Shaw till she won't see us anymore!.

it is sad to read all the information that is on the webpage of this business, i took my child, and the Doctor had no patience, she tried to keep her down by pushing her body weight on my daughter's shoulder and didnt take the time to calm her down or use other means of sedation, she traumatized my daughter, please dont go, the dentist should not be a painful or traumatic experience....HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE , HORRIBLE, Im still crying, she is dominating, and imponent, should not be in pediatrics at all...
