        Dr. Alan Jarrett received his BS in chemistry at the University of Florida where he was a member of the AED Honor society. He then graduated from the University of Tennessee medical school where he was number 2 in his class and a member of the AOA Honor society.After spending a one year internship at Harbor General Hospital (UCLA) he did his residency at Baylor College of Medicine where he acted as chief resident his senior year. He is board certified in ophthalmology and served as examiner for the board for many years.

        I had cataract surgery in both eyes.

        Dr. Jarrett was very caring and compassionate. I was previously seen by another doctor who dismissed my concerns and treated me for dry eye rather than cataracts. I struggled with not being able to see clearly for years. Dr. Jarrett immediately made me feel comfortable. He assured me that he could help me and that after treatment I would be able to see.

        The surgery has helped tremendously. i can read without glasses which I have not done in 60 years. I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Jarrett and his entire staff. They were always there to answer my questions.

        Excellent ophthalmologist - Patient for over 30 years

        Dr. Jarrett was been my eye doctor for over 30 years. He and his staff are always available and work with you to get you in as soon as possible if something comes up between annual appointments. They have ordered many contacts for me over the years and the fit has always been perfect. Now that I have had cataract surgery, I can see at a distance when I wake up. What a joy! Thank you Dr. Jarrett!
