- In-Home Attendant Services is a Financial Management Agency that offers a choice in how your Medicaid funded attendant care services are delivered. We offer two program options: the Direct Care Agency Option and the Consumer Directed Services (CDS) Option. For the CDS option it is required to select a Financial Management Agency such as In-Home Attendant Services, whose role is to assist individuals in need of care to become Employers and to manage their own attendants and personal services. Employers are in charge of Hiring, Setting Pay Rate, Scheduling, and Supervising, all allowed within their CDS budget. All services that are provided by IHAS related to the CDS Option are: Assistance with Employee Screening, Payroll, Employee Tax deductions, Garnishments, Budgeting, Employer Training, and Employer Consulting. As the Financial Management Agency, IHAS does not work directly with Employees. Employees must contact their Employers for any and all Human Resources issues. The Direct Care program is for individuals who prefer the Agency Option.When selecting the Agency Option, individuals who require in-home attendance are not Employers.In-Home Attendant Services' role for individuals in the Direct Care Agency program is to provide staffing for care. In the case of the Direct Care Agency Option, IHAS assumes all Employer responsibilities such as:Hiring, Setting Pay Rate, Scheduling, Supervising, Payroll, and Budgeting.

This company sucks. You never get paid on time!!!! They say I didn't get time sheet or it wasn't sent on time!! When I no damn well I sent it with conformation. They lie and say they mailed it. I'm still waiting on 3 checks I was told was mailed in Oct Nov and January. Then if you can't wait until next payday they charge you $27 to cancel the check they said they mailed. Then charge you $20 to over night it and it never comes over night !!! There rude!!! Hang up on you. Very unorganized. Don't ever work here. I'm seeing bad ratings on every sight about these ppl going back 3/5 years!!

I had In Home as our CDS provider for a year. They are very unorganized and have people working for them that have no idea what is going on half the time. They will lie and keep the money that is supposed to go to your caretaker and they could not care less. I switched providers and the new provider is so much better so far! I just would say BEWARE they are a bunch of thieves!

I have been with this company for over 6 Years.
At the beginning it was totally not professional.
It has gotten better and better.
They are very good now. The associates are very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel comfortable asking questions. Even when I have asked the same questions before. They seem to start realizing we have them because we are ill.
I feel more respected now in the past 2 years.

I am new to this company. But the payroll person that I have, is making me think I should change company's. I have done everything on my end emailing time sheet on time, but they lost the time sheet and instead of cutting a check they are telling me to wait next pay period. The payroll person I have just don't care, she kept me on hold for 40 mins. I would never refer this company to anyone and I am changing companies after this. I rather a company that appreciate me vs Im a bother to them.

There has been a lot of changes within the company lately and it's been for the better. I've been working with the company for over 3 years now and I will admit there were some situations that were challenging but recently some changes to the payroll process has changed and it's working way better and I'm a happy customer. I have referred a friend and members of my own family to this company and they're doing great for them too! Keep up the good work!

The company has a lot of incompetent staff.. It takes a lifetime to be able to talk to a life operator. The staff depends on answering machine to substitute for real people. Its absurd.

I have worked for this company for 5 yrs, and it was ok. but now I was told they will no pay any time over 40 hours. my provider hours are 42 so I will get pay for just 40 and respite care as well will be paid only 40 hours per week. when sometimes client needs more than 40 hours respite in one week. No pay after 40 hours. I am changing company, since I called medicaid and was told that is not a medicaid rule, but a company rule.
