Dr. Adrienne Choksi is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology. She was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then attended the University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate studies. She earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where she earned the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society award for being in the top of her class. Dr. Choksi then moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she did an internship in internal medicine, followed by residency training in dermatology at the University of Michigan.

Before allergy testing, your allergist will conduct a thorough medical history and exam to determine the best way to evaluate your condition. Skin testing is a comprehensive and efficient method to assess for allergies. Results are available within 15 minutes of testing. If a patient cannot have skin testing, blood testing can be performed instead. We commonly test for pollen, dust mites, animal dander, mold, food, and more.
