Dr. Aliya Iftikhar Sarwar, MD

I am a 72-year-old patient of Dr. Sarwar and have been so for over 2 years. I came under care of Dr. Sarwar when I came into the VA Health system. I was initially somewhat apprehensive as I had previously been under care by an excellent private practice neurologist and was not sure of the treatment, I would receive in the VA System. Too my surprise Dr. Sarwar was attentive to my needs, spending incredible amounts of time with me as she assessed my treatment needs. She reduced some of my prior medications and has always consulted me on side effects I may be experiencing. Dr. Sarwar has always treated me with compassion and kindness. As a patient I wholeheartedly recommend this excellent Doctor and feel blessed to have come under her kind care.
