So, today (10/7/21), I decided to give a call because I received a letter from Dr.Bobs vet about setting up an appointment for "feline annual". I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something pertaining to my cat’s medical condition. No, it was to schedule an appointment for the rabie vaccine. I told him that we take care of that. Well, Dr.Bob goes "this isn't 50 years ago on the farms, I hope your cat doesn't bite anyone and you get sued." THEN HANGS UP ON ME. I'm sitting here like.. we better have just got disconnected because that was rude AF. So, I call back and say "I think we got disconnected". Dr.Bob says "no, I hung up and won't be dealing with your animals anymore. I'm dismissing you". And I'm trying to explain to him that I was gracious he saved my cat and would get my cat vaccinated there if that's his policy. I also wanted him to understand he's an indoor cat like my other cats and dog.. Nope, he hung up on me again!!! And then we I called back the 3rd, 4th, and 5th time he didn't wanna answer me. He would pick the phone up and leave it sitting there, then another time I got a loud busy tone in my ear. Sounds like Dr.Bob just wants my money too!! Look, I don't have kids. My animals are my kids, and I will take care of them and do whatever it takes! But to be an absolute nasty piece of trash and not let your customers talk to you?? I hope you lose all your business now. COMPASSION AND INNOVATION (that’s on his website)?! Super rude and highly unprofessional! After hearing other people's stories about how they almost lost their animals, they were treated the same way as me and/or worst, and he over charged people for things he didn't even do... he needs to lose his license!!

*** ALERT STAY AWAY IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET ***

I went to Dr. Bob in October because my dog was lethargic and not herself. He seemed knowledgeable and told me she just had a strain in her neck. Gave her some injections, did some neck adjustments, and gave pain medicine.

1 day later my dog is throwing up, has obvious balancing problems, and is still lethargic. I take her back to Dr. Bob. He does blood work, X-rays, and the neck adjustment. He said she was fine she was just home sick and pointed to 3 little things in the xray saying she may have swallowed something but it's not serious. I paid my bill which was over $600 for both days in full when I was in his office since I live out of state.

I make it home and my dog starts having seizures and dies at the vet at home.

The office with Dr. Bob sends me a card saying they're sorry.

6 months later I receive a bill from collections saying I owe $84 and some change from their office. I call Village Animal Group and ask about the charge. He says " I added it after you left. I didn't send you a bill for it. It was an injection I forgot about." How am I supposed to pay a bill I never received? How sketchy is it that he never thought to tell me about the $84 and then just sends it over to collections? Also while I was on the phone he said It should be $42 not $84. So how am I supposed to know that he even did the injection and isn't lying about that? When I express my concern he says I did the injection and hangs up on me!

Not only am I still completely upset about losing my dog in such a terrible way. I have an unknown bill with no itemize copy of what "injections" he added AFTER I left his office that he just sent over to collections 6 months later.

If you like to be treated this way... then by all means DR. BOB is your guy! But if you want a respectable vet who will be honest with you then I suggest you find ANY ONE ELSE even if you have to drive to the next state over!
