Island Pet Movers

We began the process of working to find a company to help us move our dog. Since, March we’ve only had little to no email communication even when asking specific questions, did not get them answered. We were told that they would not answer questions until our deposit was paid. We did so on an estimate of $1,527.57. Then we paid a $255 deposit and our balance after deposit is now $2,937??????!!!!!!!

When we asked for our deposit to be refunded within 24 hours, the owner, Kari, immediately called my husband. (This would have been a great time to communicate clearly, and honestly if she had reached out to communicate prior to asking for our deposit back, most likely we would not be in this situation) Instead of calmly and professionally trying to solve the confusion, she added to the level of stress with this situation and yelling. She also cussed at my husband including an F-bomb!!!! Here’s the email response when we commented on the level of professionalism in her language.

This is not someone I would trust my beloved pet to. Clearly, her best clients cannot speak.

Also note, you cannot leave an official review on her Facebook page. Never trust a business that doesn’t want to be reviewed, there’s probably a reason.
