Don't come here to buy your first instrument, this place is apparently experts only. I came in planning to drop about $100 on my first uke, and I had a few questions. At the door I wasn't greeted so much as frisked; I thought they were going to ask me to take off my belt, shoes, and jewelry too. Apart from unfriendly door guy, I never saw any other employees. One guy was playing a guitar, but I couldn't tell if he worked there, and he looked pretty into the guitar so I didn't feel comfortable interrupting anyway. Do musicians not ever need help? Are they too cool to ask questions? I guess I'll never know.

This was my first experience in a music store, and I don't think I'll go in one again, as it was intimidating and uncomfortable. Looks like I'll be getting my first uke from amazon, chosen based on reviews.

Not sure what the other reviews are about but this place is awesome!! Great Prices and they stay on top of things. I don't have much musical background and they are very informative and are not trying to take advantage of you. Highly recommend this place.

Overall
Good Selection/Good Prices

I bought a ukulele from Easy Music for my son beginning. Sales rep made good recommendation not to get most expensive uke, but one that was good value for beginner. It's proven to be perfect fit for my son over last year. Will probably buy upgraded model from them for upcoming fall semester at school.
