Optical Outlets - Homosassa

Do not understand why the dr that was there not new Commer did not want me to see her . She walked me out the door and told me my script was right. I can not see clearly out of my right eye. They did not even check. Now I am out $525.00 for junk that I can now where. I call my Visa card and told them they said not to worry. If they cannot figure out my right eye then they need to refund my money. I will not pay for glasses I can not see out of the right eye. What a waste also took a month to get them and they are wrong in the right eye. Take me to court. It a shame that they do not care. Why would I lie I can see clearly out of my right eye it’s foggy and blurry. I will never go back they tried to make me look stupid and it looked like she enjoy it. This was not dr newcomer it was a lazy dr she has working there that has no respect to customers. I also ask for my script and was told not to order glasses on line. I said I will once you get this right. I paid for that script it’s the law they give it to you!!!!!! I will be going another place so I can see but never again will I go back to that place in homosassa dr newcomer. Again they would not let me talk to her.

Customer Serivice wasn’t bad, but when I went to see the doctor he had a demeanor that made me feel like he was bored or disinterested, did normal exam, but the lenses he tested with seemed blurry and I feel like this may have given an incorrect prescription. Ended up going to another local eye clinic and they provided a much clearer prescription had to pay out of pocket since I used my benefits at the outlet. This place does have a big selection of frames for you to buy though. They possibly changed doctors, been awhile since my visit.

The doctor was very good and cared about my having more than an eye check up yearly but to go to a renal specialist due to having had glaucoma surgery. First time I have ever been advised to do that plus he gave me a reference to two such specialists. The staff there is outstanding. My glasses came in earlier than expected and I was notified immediately. They were great. I will go there again as this was my first visit.

Once my wife and I started going there, we would not go anywhere else. The Manager, Glynnis, is the nicest, friendliest person you could ever meet. All the personnel are pleasant, efficient and helpful. The prices are low and in a new office. Obviously, we are impressed and you will be too.

Having never worn prescription glasses.. i came here as It was on my insurance plan... what a disaster.. I did not know any better... was sold glasses that are wrong.. the exam was all of 3 minutes...
no test for glucoma or anything else..been trying to correct 3 x now... and I still don't have a decent pair of glasses... if you need glasses...go someplace else

terrible place to get your glasses been back 3 times and they are not correct , they act like i dont know what i am talking about , another man came in the same day i did and his scrip was wrong also

Didn't receive my glasses until about 3 weeks after having ordered them, had to walk in & ask for them because they couldn't bother calling. Asked for my glasses to be for distance, they said that's what it is, turned out they're reading glasses which despite my eyes needing them, they're no hope for if I drive. I needed distance, not reading.. I explained they are the wrong glasses, they not only seemed to be quite impatient & not understand what I was telling them, they also argued their point & protesting that the doctor who tested my eyes was correct. They wouldn't refund me anything or even reschedule a retest for my eyes so that I could t the correct glasses needed. NOT AT ALL PLEASED, WILL NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND. STAY CLEAR! Everything is far over priced, I'm out $100 of my own money because of them & all I got was an eye test (which was barely done) & got lenses in an old frame!

Do not go there for an eye exam! The Dr. I saw was very rude and convinced me I was nearly blind. All he wanted was my money but refused to give me a prescription. He said I was illegal to drive! Wow - I didn't know that. When we moved here I drove for 2 days to get here - no problems! Just giving everybody a heads up. This location was in Homosassa - bad experiences
