I have purchased several quality firearms for AA. Including an HK and Colt. As well as had WW2 PPK restored and a .308 restored. I have been happy with the pricing and Service. The knowledge of the staff is excellent.

I saw the prior post and would say I am not a first time buyer and I am a frequent attendee to the area gun shows. Selection, Prices and Service are good enough that I have purchased six firearms from AA since 2011 and will likely purchase another in the future.

I'm not sure about all those negative reviews but I've been buying here for a while. Couple rifles and pistols. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Have yet to be mistreated nor have I had any malfunctions with my firearms. If you look or act suspect you might be treated that way but that would be your own fault. They sell weapons not toys.

I've been coming to this gun store since they opened some years back and they treat me like family. I bought around 12 guns here and their prices are very reasonable and competitive. customer service is excellent. The owner one time fixed one of my guns for free. Ask for Javier, he's the man.

Great experience. I just went on YP to get the number of American Armory and saw some reviews. What a shame that people intentionally go online motivated only to write crappy reviews. Some of these actually sound biased and doctored, for lack of a better word. My story is the following: I asked my girlfriend for a gun for Christmas. She went to A A and the wife of the owner helped her out tremendously; something that I found phenomenal as women can relate better amogst themselves. She gave my girlfriend options, suggestions and based on what my girlfriend told the owner's wife she purchased a Ruger LCR 357. I appreciate the lady's candor and suggestions as, my girlfriend knowing nothing about guns, could have easily been sold something more expensive and less practical. I went to the store after Christmas and purchased some accessories and had a great experience. She remembered my girlfriend's name; name-dropping is rare in business nowadays I think. The whole business experience with them has been very pleasant. In any event, I am going back to purchase an automatic weapon These people are congenial, friendly, knowledgable, and for those negative reviewers, whether genuine or not (I specifically address the genuine reviewers) I say this, any business can have a hiccup. I have yet to know of one that hasn't had one. I speak for many, I am sure, I highly recommend American Armory.

No wonder their reviews are mostly negative. Avoid the headache. Go somewhere else. These people are non responsive and irresponsible. They don't respond to calls, messages or emails. I wasted two weeks trying to get my gun through this business. Very unprofessional in every way. The times I went there, they even had a small child (perhaps 6 years old) running around behind counters. Higher fees. I got very fast and friendly service at a place recommended in another review.

American Armory special ordered an AK-47 for me, but the one that came in was not the one I requested. The AK that came in had a tactical stock rather than the basic stock. The owner Javier refused to admit that he had ordered the wrong gun, and said if I wanted that stock I would have to pay an additional $80.00 dollars. I told him that I wasn going to pay for his mistake so he temporarily installed a used wooden stock that didnt fit right until the correct one arrived. When I took the gun to the range and fired it, I noticed that I couldn sight the gun in because it was bent. I asked the range instructor (Eric) to check it out and while he was shooting the gun a friend noticed that my right shoulder was bleeding. I asked the instructor to check out the gun and he also noticed that there was a problem sighting in the gun. I shot the gun one more time with the Eric standing behind me and he felt something hit him in his for arm. At that time he told me not to fire the weapon again. I had an X-ray done the following day and it was confirmed that I had the small piece of metal in my shoulder. Im sure that the gun was damaged as a result of the owner and gunsmith, forcefully installing a used wooden stock that clearly did not fit correctly the day I took the weapon. I returned the AK-47 to A.A, and explained what had happened and asked for a refund, I was insulted and called a liar in front of everyone in the store. A.A has a bad reputation at Henry Range in Homestead (305-394-2151) were my incident took place as a result of weapons not firing properly. A.A also opens all FFL orders shipped to them instead of waiting for the customers to be present to inspect his/her shipment which have led to missing cleaning kits and extra magazines. I got my money back and am filing a complaint with the ATF, thank god no one was seriously hurt. If anyone wants to confirm this review contact Henry or Erick at Henerys range in Homestaed.

I have been in the firearm industry for a quite a few years as a collector, sport shooter and hunter and have lived in Homestead for 12 years and just recently found American Armory open for business. When I first walked in the store I was surprised. I have never seen a gun store look so unique and clean and organized. It's like a boutique. There were plenty of firearms on display and available and the prices shockingly low compared to the other gun shops in the state. Javier was very polite, helpful (which is unheard of in this industry) and extremely knowledgeable. Although the firearm was not in stock Javier ordered it for me and it was less than a week for delivery. Full gunsmith services available also. I was treated like a family member by all the employees and I have found my permanent gun store. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This place is a joke, and that's being nice. I've been in there twice, both times was more than disappointed. The second time I went back thinking maybe I caught them on an off day, but no, they're ridiculous.



They have complete garbage in stock, and the prices on the decent guns they have are sky high. The first time we were in there the woman working behind the counter who had no idea about guns, pulled a .45 out of the case to show somebody, and proceeded to aim it at everybody in the shop.



The second time we were in there, a little kid was running around behind the counter with a realistic looking pellet gun, pointing it at people. They don't speak much English and don't have any firearms knowledge, avoid this place like the plague.

please dont go to this place... went here to buy a ar 15 paid for it and was told to come back a week later mind you i had but it on layway 1 week before thinking it will hold it. if i would have known that i would have taken my money else where and left out the door with my ar15

This place was the only gun store nearby so I decided to stop by and purchase an accessory for my gun. Worst mistake ever. They have taken over two months for a small piece and after looking around I come to find out that I was actually ripped off. If you are in the homestead area please do yourself a favor and take the drive anywhere but this place. You will remember my comment if you don't.

Ordered and PAID for a rifle 6 months ago and haven't received it yet? If they aren't crooks I don't know they are. I am patient but this is ridiculous! DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! THEY SUCK! Thanks Javier!

This is a new place here but if they keep doing what they are doing they will be here for a very long time. They are a small store but very clean with a fantastic atmosphere. It is a place you want to go not only for excellent service and proces but just to say hi. The service is excellent, very knowledgeable and wants to make sure you are completely happy with your gun. The prices are excellent. I just purchased another gun for my collection and will be going back again. They have a very knowledgeable firearms instructor that really takes the time to show you what you need to know and if you have any questions he will make sure it is answered. My wife, son, and neighbor were all very happy with there course. We are all looking forward to go to the range with him for additional courses. Needles to say like everything in the store GREAT PRICE. Highly recommend this store to everyone.
