Absolute rip-offs, so glad I didn't buy from these guys. My wife and I saw a car listed on their website for about $5,000 and stopped by on a Sunday to look at it. Called the next day to ask about taking a test drive.

Went down that evening, test drove the car and discussed price. The jerk tried to convince me that the car was worth $8,000 but that he would take $6,000.

I told him that their website showed it listed for $5,000. Of course he didn't believe me so he proceeded to pull up the website on his compute. And - the website showed $6,000! They actually changed the price after I called about the car!!!

My wife and I both looked at the website and know what we saw.

The guys sits there and blatantly lies, lies, and lies about the price.

We got up and walked out.

We needed a van for our expanded family. We saw a Kia we liked and my husband test drove the van. He noticed problems and they said they would fix it. BEFORE we even drove off the lot with our children, the middle seat belt was BROKEN. How can you sell a Van to a family with 4 kids and not check that safety concern? My son also noticed the handles were broken in the back slide doors. They fixed it and finally on our way home the service engine soon light came on! We took it back and they fixed the Van for a small fee. The air conditioner went out after 3 months and we found out they just put coolant in the system! Lost trust in Jumbo Auto and paid someone else $700.00 to fix the hidden problems. The mechanic found bolts missing to hold down the engine and a ton of other sick and dishonest problems. He even found rat bones in a rat nest. Disgusting. Service engine light came back on after 4 months and we paid another $1200.00 to rebuild part of the engine with another mechanic. Perhaps Jumbo rigged the van for the original problem? The mechanic said they certainly did! WOW! Please, do not buy from these Con artist who turn over vehicles for a quick buck! DIRTY AND DISHONEST!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly, you are reading this because you're probably a victim too. Sorry for your experience (I know the sick feeling you have right now))

Although you were taken advantage of (like me) and ripped-off, you may get some self-satisfaction by filing complaints with BBB, US Trade Commission, KIA USA, DMV, Brower County Consumer Protection and Immigration (Miami office) 305-762-3610

Worst Dealership ever !!

If I could give it worst score I would! !! Terrible customer service and a complete rip off! Bought a car while test driving noticed a light came up and advice the sale manager of so which stated he will have his mechanic fix that. Well left the car and a week later it was still not fixed. Their excuse was the part was coming and were really backed up with work. I keep going back and forth and decided with the manager to help expedite the process since it was two and half week waitinf on the car to be fixed. Each time was it going to be down this day and the next day blah blah.

I went yesterday to speak withe manager to try resolve this issue and his respond waa well if you are not happy with the car we could give you $800 store credit when I finance the car for $5,600.00 are you f$#&* $@# kidding me! ! Not only they took mt money but want replace the piece of junk they sold me.

If you want to makw your money worthwhile go elsewhere! !!!! Worst place ever! !!!

We all know that car salesmen ...

We all know that car salesmen are one of least respected professionals in the United States. Their reputation for slick and underhanded practices -- and outright misrepresentations -- rivals that of politicians, lawyers, and journalists. That said, the rule of "Buyer Beware" should be re-worded "Buyer Don't Buy" from Hollywood Kia. The sales staff at this dealership, particularly Riccardo, will say ANYthing to dupe you into buying a vehicle that he knows to be defective. Riccardo is definitely eccentric, and will share with the prospective buyer all sorts of stories about his personal life to endear him with the prospective buyer. What Riccardo WON'T share are the defects in the prospective buyer's intended purchase, about which Riccardo is abundantly aware. Moreover, when those defects are called to his attention -- post-contract -- he will say "Well, that's your fault for not checking everything properly." Now, I understand that the buyer has a responsibility to check out a vehicle prior to purchase. The sales representative, however, has an equal ethical and legal responsibility to refrain from making false statements of material fact about the quality of the vehicle. Unfortunately, Riccardo does not take this responsibility seriously. I hope that you are not duped into buying a defective vehicle from Riccardo after reading this review. Please do your homework, and have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic of your choice, prior to signing any contract to purchase the vehicle. My guess is that there will be multiple defective components with the car. Better yet, buy a car from another dealership altogether, and help put these scheisters out of business, or, better yet, into jail where they all belong. So, for Hollywood Kia, the new slogan should be "Buyer, Don't Buy."

Total scam

For buying carz online for the pass 5 years little did i know i was gonna be rip off . I saw this car on line mercedes benz E350 2010 for $36,955

I call it was one sales person by the name Adams Levy ,

I did a bank deposit in their account the next day . Even sent them a digital copy to them a proof of payment . When the money go their side for them to forward me the documentation to feel out it took them a week for them to tell me that the car has a title issue which initial stage i asked the said everything was clean . Now money is with them no car for me . They then devided to search for one and also they decided to let me look for one so that they pay for it with my money , with any one that i found and forward the detail to their sales manager , they didnt follow up with me for three weeks no car no update , finally i went out there to get me one which only took me an hour to do so in PA , and gave a down payment for it . Decided to even to forward a copy ofthe reciept and buyers orders to the sales manager

, did not respond to it. I persisted to call him until he told me they r on their way to send the refund which was the monday third week , i called the dealer to find out if they had recieved the funds which they did not , so i call back to the kia dealer he did not pick up my call and decided to call PA mecedes benz on my behalf to find out whats going on, with the money ..

Worst experience ever! The customer service is unbelievably bad! We bought a car on a saturday night, and drove out after hours. We fill up at the gas station across the street, and then we break down right in front of the dealership! We call and get no answers besides we open tomorrow morning. We live 4hrs away, dont know the area, have no where to go, but they dont care. Then phone dies while talking to them, and then find out the cigarette lighter doesnt have power to charge it. All of this is 10:30 at night. We use a pay phone to get a taxi and stay in a hotel, and return in the morning. They promise to have the car fixed and delivered to our house on monday, but they wouldnt call me back at all. We again live four hours away. We bought another car for my wife that day and drove that home. I left countless messages. it is now 5 days later and still waiting......They dont deserve to be in business! I would rather buy a bicycle then to ever buy a car from them! Honest to god stay away! Liars and crooks!

Saw all the nasty reviews but decided to give it a try. Sweet guy named Adam was willing to help us but gave us off to some guy named Jack. He was very unpleasant to work with, never introduced himself or asked for our names, seem uninterested in his work, was VERY rude because of the price range we were looking in and when we told him his Honda on the lot had a major leak he advised us to go to Goodyear and get it fixed if we bought it. That set us OFF! Why should we buy a car that we would need to fix down the block? He said we won't get a perfect car for under $6000 when we did down the block. DONT COME HERE UNLESS U HAVE A MECHANIC! MY FATHER FOUND TONS OF PROBLEMS ON THE 10 CARS WE SAW! GOD KNOWS WHAT ELSE IS WRONG!

We are in the middle of being ripped off by these people. They gave us a 30 day bring the used car back and we'll fix it if any problems. They took the van back agreed to fix and we have not heard from them since. No-one knows where the van is and they have kept our money. We paid cash. If we can get a refund we'll be lucky, I've never seen anything like it. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I gave one star because this review made me.

This place is a total rip off!...

This place is a total rip off!!! Stay clear away from this place, they sell cars way over the value of the cars worths!!! Ex. They currently have a Acura Integra 2000 on their lot right now. The car has over 137,000 miles and the value of the car (Dealership Value) is $5,500 and thats in excellent condition and I have seen the car and its not in excellent condition. Its actually in fair condition. I asked them why were they trying to sell the car way over value like that and they got offended and hung up on me...I called back and spoke to another salemen and he told me that if I wanted to come look at the car come on down and hung up on me when I begin asking them why they were selling the car for $7000 and the value is only at $5,500...WOW!! If I were you I would stay clear away from this dealership!!!

This place is a total waste of time, money and energy. I Purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership and was riped-off completely. I havent had the car for more than a month when i took it to my mechanic and was told that i was sold a car with a bad engine that was covered up. NOT EVEN A MONTH. When i called to complain they told me they're was nothing they could do and i had to continue to make paymets on it. Ofcourse i did not and they came to my house, in the middle of the night, and towed the car, ruining our grass i might add. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, poor quality vehicles, the best scam artists in miami. Please save your time and your money.

My experience with the sales m...

My experience with the sales manager was an absolute abomination and waste of time! I advise you to avoid this dealership at all cost. My nightmare with Hollywood Kia began when I found a brand new Kia Forte Koup SX on their website listed at $18,300. Excited, but still weary that this was too good to be true; I proceeded to call the dealership to confirm the price. After speaking to several salesmen including the sales manager they assured me that it was in fact the final price. Shortly after I drove 2 1/2 hours to the dealership to buy myself a new car... Or so I thought. Upon arriving I was greeted by the salesman with whom I had originally spoken to. We then sat down to complete the sale, and instantly the price I was quoted increased by $3,000. The original price that was quoted on the internet was mysteriously gone, and I was out of luck. They then told me I was "dumb" for thinking that vehicle would be sold for that cheap. I left in shock. Luckily I printed out the original internet posting with the original price and I am reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.

Good luck with these immoral fools.

Continued...After an hour of s...

Continued...After an hour of speaking to frank and explaining how I felt, he ASSURED me I would get a new car by that Friday. I was to call him on Friday, which I thought was weird, why should I have to call him, but he was the only one on my side at this point. He also insisted I take the Sorrento for the next two days, which I also thought was very weird. Why would he want me to put more miles on the vehicle? Needless to say I was just happy that after a week and a half of arguing and going down to the dealership I would finally get my new car. I called Frank’s cell Friday morning, no answer. I called again.. I emailed. I then called the dealership asking for him. The receptionist’s response was “Frank no longer works here”. I was now livid!! Right then I knew why he wanted me to wait until Friday, because he was planning on quitting. I had at this point been in contact with Kia Corporate, because I couldn’t get anyone to call me back, not even the finance woman who I was calling because I had a simple question about the payoff of my old loan on the car I traded in. Back and forth with corporate and the finally with Kia, I can’t tell you many conversations I had with corporate, documenting my situation. I was finally put in touch with Josh Levy, another owner and brother of Joe Levy. In the end I was not going to be offered a new vehicle, I was offered accessories, which was crap. I scheduled to have my Accessories put on, brought the car down there. A serviceman drove us to my work, he complained the entire time about the dealership and how it was run, so you can imagine we had something to talk about. A few hours later they came to pick us up in MY, not to mention the serviceman was filthy dirty and sitting on my seat. No paper, no nothing. I was again livid!! I told my boyfriend (Jon) to drive my car back which meant serviceman was now sitting in my passenger seat. At this point we both blew up and to top it off the service man asked Jon to drive him to the dealership and drop him off instead of the service center!!! Jon went into service station, Josh Levy happened to be there and Jon let him have it. We had been calm this entire time. That was done, but still After 5 weeks, my loan hadn’t been paid off and I was owed $400. I couldn’t get anyone to call me back, so after 4 days of calling Josh, I called up Kia corporate. They were able to get Josh on the phone with me, he says he didn’t receive my messages. The 14 I left him along with emails so it was all in writing. I received a check a few days later. It is now May 20th, 2011; I’ve had my car for 4 months, which I love. It’s time for an oil change. I was told when I bought the car and several times after that my first oil change was FREE. So this morning I went to my appointment at the service center. I get in and I am asked where my paperwork is for the free oil change. I didn’t receive anything, I was just told, and I thought this was policy and would be in the system. But NO… of course it isn’t. I dealt with once again the service manager Danny, we got into it, he told me as a courtesy for everything he would give me the oil change for free without the paper, but would have to charge me for the rotation and something else. HELL no was I paying this dealership a dime and would never be back after this. I told Danny this and he said why would I give you a free oil change if you’re never coming back. I said “why would I come back, it’s been an awful experience and this isn’t pleasant either????” We went back and forth and nothing…Needless to say I grabbed my keys back and walked out. This is the most horrendous customer service I have ever experienced. They have an F rating on the better business bureau and you’ll find a ton more negative reviews. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! I have never written a review, but yet I always look online for reviews and trust what other people say. I hope you will do the same.

Continue..THEY PAINTED THE CAR...

I purchased a Kia Sorrento from Hollywood Kia on 1/16/11. The salesman who greeted me was only there 5 days and had very little knowledge or personality, but that’s beside the point. It was closing time; however they stayed open to make the sale. I worked with a GM named, Frank Sanchez, who was knowledgeable and personable. After 3 hours, I happily went home with my new car, but that happiness didn’t last. While signing the paperwork, they had the car washed for me, but like I said it was late, we didn’t leave the dealership until 8:30pm that Sunday. Monday morning, I noticed that there were bird poop stains on the paint, from not washing off the vehicle and letting the poop bake in the sun. I email Frank immediately and asked when I could bring the car in to see about having it detailed again, since I figured it was dark and they didn’t notice this the previous evening. He said bring it in tomorrow, Tuesday. So Tuesday my boyfriend brought the car in. They got out a few of the marks, but there were two spots that wouldn’t come out. They took the car down to a detail place and 20 minutes later brought it back, the stains weren’t coming out. I told Frank I wanted a new vehicle either off their lot or another dealerships’. I purchased a new car and wasn’t going to have the paint buffed out any more and risk getting those circle marks. I was told the door could be painted by 3 different people who called me regarding my car that Wednesday and Thursday. I insisted I did not want my brand new car in a body shop being painted. I bought a new car straight from the factory, I didn’t want this, nor did I want to have any problems in the future with the paint job or with trying to sell it, should this repair be listed on car fax. On Wednesday I was contacted by one of the Owners, Joe, who I was told also owns a body shop, where my car would be taken. He told me there was a chemical process to extract the stain out of the paint and that he wasn’t going to paint it. I again insisted on a new vehicle. It was back and forth with Frank and Joe. At this point I am NOT happy and feeling trapped, however I said FINE… you can do whatever you want to it, but when I see it and I don’t like it, I want a new vehicle! I reluctantly agreed and was pretty much talked into by Frank Sanchez, to just let them try. So I was told to bring in my car that Monday, Jan 24th. I was greeted by Joe, who couldn’t seem to look me in the eye, was dress unprofessionally in jean shorts and a t-shirt. I was handed loaner car keys he shook my boyfriend’s hand, who was not the buyer, I was!! Disrespectful!!! The car stunk like cigarettes and the gas light was on. Beyond annoyed at this point, I went back into the dealership, said “There is no gas” and Joe replied “Oh, I didn’t look. It’s too early for this.” Not I am sorry, nothing. He took out $20 and was trying to find someone to take the car to the gas station to fill it up. I had to be at work, I told him I would do it. I grabbed the $20 and left. I returned to get my car Wed, the 26th, I was greeted by who wanted to show me the car. I said NO, I’m not taking it. I’ve never heard of a chemical process, I had done research since and no one has ever heard of that He threw up his hands at me, talking over me saying I needed to speak to Frank about the legality of it, that that wasn’t his department, apparently neither was customer service. Frank came in at 9am to meet me, he said right away you’re not going to be happy. THEY PAINTED THE CAR AND had drip marks down the door handle, I was lied to my face by the damn owner. took my money could not provide the truck no refund no star

On July 10, 2010 I went to Jumbo Hollywood Kia after talking to a salesman Arthur Alexander concerning a 2007 Toyota Tacoma Arthur told me that he had the truck on another lot and gave me a printout that he had previously emailed me with the contact info concerning the truck. This printout clearly stated that Jumbo Auto and Truck Plaza was the contact for this Truck and had the price of the truck listed on it. Arthur told me I could have both the truck and title on July 15, 2010 and I needed the shipper to pick up the vehicle on July 15, 2010.

I purchased the Toyota Tacoma vin # 3TMKU72N27M011183 on my personal visa on July 10, 2010 one payment of $18,000.00 us dollars and I asked them to put the truck in the name of the company that was importing the vehicle for me. They gave me the visa receipt stapled to the printout and asked me to come back on Monday July 12, 2010 to pickup the paperwork with the import companies name on it.

On July 15 the shipper that I employed contacted Jumbo to pickup the vehicle and was told that neither the vehicle nor the title was available.

Since then I have been in contact with Jumbo talking to the salesman Arthur, the sales manager Kevin Love, office manager Joanne, the Owner's brother Jonathon Levy (purchaser) and the owner Joe Levy all of whom have promised me a refund but will not process my visa refund.

The salesman Arthur told me that the title for the truck was not available; the owner’s son told me that the truck did not pass the mechanical inspection and could not be purchased at the auction (I did not know that the truck was at auction. I was told they were the owners of this truck.) But who knows what the truth is.

Jonathon Levy then sent me emails of other trucks he said he could get me. However after them lying to me about owning the truck I do not want to deal with them on any other vehicles. Also he wanted more money in order to get me a replacement truck. I told him No and he told me they would refund my money.

After numerous phone calls and emails they are just playing with me and have still not refunded my money back to visa even thought they have asked for the visa # numerous times they also wanted the security code on the back. When I phone they keep me on hold and put me through to various answering machines and just hang up.

I have contacted the police in the area and have a police file # 331008-130626. So here it is they have my money and I have never received my truck nor my refund and they have promised a complete refund many times but have not given one.

On Aug 12 after numerous calls to Jumbo Joe Levy the GENERAL MANAGER /OWNER of Jumbo Hollywood Kia finally took my call he pretended to be the salesman Arthur and after a few minutes of talking he then told me he was Joe Levy he promised a refund would be put through within 15 min of the call and would send an email to me confirming this. There was no refund ever put through. Copies of the emails that I received from Joe Levy the owner are attached.

I have filed a dispute with RBC Visa on July 17, 2010. I also have filed complaints with BBB, Florida consumer affairs, US Trade commission, KIA USA, the Dept of Motor Vehicles in Florida, The Attorney General and Brower county consumer protection.

Jumbo Hollywood KIA has not responded to any of these complaints.

On Sept 3, 2010 I received a call from KIA USA one of the companies I have complained to and they told me they contacted Frank (a new general manager with Jumbo Hollywood Kia) Frank told them that I stopped payment on the Visa after I purchased the truck. I never stopped payment on anything the funds were taken from my visa on July 12 and I to this day have never received any truck or any refund.

this company is a ripoff donot buy from them!!!

BUYER BEWARE

Shiesty business. They leave the phone off the hook and walk away for an hour so they can hear what you say about the truck or how much you will pay, try to wait until after the paperwork gets pushed through before you see the carfax report. They slap a coat of white paint on, and put some new lights/signals on it and roll it out the door. When we went to buy the truck, we found the brake booster was leaking brake fluid all over the driver side floor, and the AC didn't work among other things. So they said they would have those things fixed but we would have to come back to pick up the truck. So we drove home (3hrs). Came back two days later when they said the truck would be ready, waited all day. They said that it would be best to go home and they would deliver the truck for us (after they told us it would be ready by the time we got there). So we went back home (now thats two whole work days wasted driving and waiting). A few days later the truck shows up on a flat bad that it barely fit on. Afterwards when our mechanic was looking at it, he noticed that the frame was nearly rusted in half. They didn't do a single thing to the truck. So 3 days of driving back and forth and wasting time, the truck wasn't being fixed. The owner is a young arab, and the 'mechanic shop' that does all the 'body work' and 'ac work' is his brothers. I couldn't figure out why the owner was so insistant that we not wait for the truck. Now I know. He knew nothing was being done to it, and it's a lot easier to not take the truck there, then once it's dropped off on the other side of the state.
