        The Hollywood Police Department- Criminal Investigations Division is comprised of investigative services section; vice, intelligence and narcotics units; and crime suppression and crisis negotiation teams. It undertakes cases related to homicide, robbery, burglary, economic and vehicle crime, and crime scene investigations and analysis. In addition, the division performs duties related to domestic violence, animal neglect, and child and senior citizen abuse. Located in Hollywood, Fla., the Hollywood Police Department is accredited by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA). The police department also has an honor guard that marches in parades, conducts funerals for officers and their family members and attends funerals for area officers killed in the line of duty.

        Overall

        I'm very upset with the Hollywood police. They just stopped my son riding bike without a light. Yes that's fine to so him but the cuffed him and slammed him to the ground. That's ssi uncalled for. They say he tried to run wick is a lie. He was in his good school clothes. I'm so over this. What gives them the right to cuff and slam to the ground because he didn't have a light on his bike. Really? I don't think so.
