UltraSource, founded in 1991 and located in Hollis, N.H., is a privately held company that is an advanced thin-film circuit and interconnect manufacturer. The company develops and manufactures integrated circuits made from less expensive materials and processes than traditional semiconductors. The company s UltraTechnologies line of products offers more components being integrated on multiple layers of thin films. The UltraBridge is a solution to the problems related to wire bonds and standard air bridges. The UltraCapacitor employs silicon nitride as a dielectric layer between the upper and lower electrodes, and is capable of integrating capacitor elements directly into thin film circuit designs. The UltraInductor product creates center-tap spiral inductors directly on the substrate.
