Chris Meara is a snake oil salesman, he is as shady a low life as they come. My 76 year old farther went over to get his car detailed, next thing I know he came home with a bill of sale for a used car.
I immediately called up Chris and explained that my dad was terminally ill, living with me while he went through Chemo and would not be able to drive soon. He said so my dad has cancer " are you really going to use the cancer card?" and would not refund my dad's $2,000 deposit.
Who takes a $2,000 ( he wanted 3 ) cash only deposit?? Why I asked?? Since this car was on consignment and he had not spent a dime out of pocket why wouldn't he give my dad back his money? He told me he had an appointment to bring the car to the dealership later that day ( he told my farther it already was checked out) and it would cost $1,000. I went back that evening and the car was in his garage and has not left the lot. He also told my dad it was a 1 owner car driven by an 80 year old man that died....more lies.
I filed a police report, when I mentioned his name and business it was clear that he was known to the police in a non positive way. Stay away from this business and person.

My husband bought a Groupon to get my car detailed for my birthday. Our first appointment was scheduled for 9/28. He called multiple times the day before to find out what time we had to drop the car off. They never returned his call. When they finally picked up the phone the morning of the appointment, they said they were too busy that day and we had to reschedule. Our second appointment was 10/5. We dropped the car off the night before -- parked it directly in front and I put the key through the mail slot on the first garage bay (there was no other key drop box we could find). I called and left a voicemail message with my cell number and asked them to call when the car was done. They never called, and when we went to pick the car up that night, they hadn't touched it! It was still parked out front. Thankfully someone was working on his personal vehicle in the garage (he said he didn't work there) so we were able to retrieve our key, which was lying on the floor!! Total waste of our time, and incredible inconvenience driving 1/2 hour over there and 1/2 hour back for nothing. I have requested a refund from Groupon and if I could give them zero stars, I would. Go someplace else.
