In November 2015 contacted Denise (very friendly to get business)from JAR to have my ice maker fixed. Repairman arrived and ordered the part. A week or two later the ice maker was installed. Week or two later ice maker was not functioning properly. The maker would intermittently stop making ice. Called Denise and informed her about the problem. Denise set up an appointment and I had to take a vacation day to be home. Contacted Denise the day before to confirm appointment. Appointment was confirmed. Waited three hours the day of appointment and called Denise to tell her I was going to leave the house for 20 minutes and would be back. Called Denise when I returned. Waited an hour or two and called Denise to check on arrival time. Denise informed me that the repairman's truck broke down. Set up another appointment and had to ask a family member to house sit. I had to cancel and Denise thanked me for letting her know. Here is the problem - no where did Denise tell me that the warranty was expired. I called Denise to set up an appointment 6/3/2016 and I was informed that the warranty expired. I mentioned to Denise that I was under the impression that since JAR knew the maker was faulty I wasn't going to be held to the 60 days. I tried to explain to Denise that if the truck didn't break down (If I knew then what I know now, I would have asked for proof that the truck broke down) the maker would have been fixed and I wouldn't be having this conversation, Denise showed no remorse and was actual rude. Buyer beware when you do business with Johnson's Appliance from Hillside.

Do Not Use this company!. I have a new appliance that stopped working. I called Firdgedaire and per the warranty they set this company up for a repair visit. They never showed up. They claimed they called and I didn't answer. They lied. I took off work for this and the told me tough luck. The women dispatcher was extremely rude.

Terrible.... The women who answers the phone (Denise) does not understand customer service. I scheduled a Frig repair between 10 -12. They canceled the appointment because we didn't answer the phone when the repair man called to say he was on the way. My wife called them back and they informed us the appointment was canceled because we missed the call. So, because she called you back after she got out of the shower you cancel an appointment!!!! Then Denise hung up on my wife. Terrible company!!!!

Had 8am-12pm appointment 2 DAYS IN A ROW. Never showed up to either appt! When you call them to check - just an answering machine. Complained to Lowe's Service Dept. Will NEVER call Ventrite again.

HAHA Ventrite? That place! How are they still in business? This site wouldn't let me give them ZERO stars. Just a scam company. Wasted 3 weeks of my time and a month with no fridge! They recieved my part to fix my Fridge on Aug.1 after being diagnosed by the repairman who I thought was pretty knowlegable. Then the fun began. They didnt even call right away to schedule an appointment. When they gave me a day I couldn't be around they said the rest of the week was booked and she would call if there was a cancellation. Apparently she called me on that friday to say they had an opening. I had missed the call. They undeniably have the worst secretary. She never left a message so I was unaware. When I called on Monday to see when they could come she told me that they could have came Friday. Of course I was patient as I am not a pushy person, to my own fault, and so I ask, when can he make it here? She said they were booked all week and Monday 8-12 was the next opening. I sarcastically laughed in my head but said ok since it was my fridge and I really need it fixed. That monday comes no show no call. I call at 1pm, Lunch time I guess. So called back at 2 to say no one showed she actually apologized and said he had 2 more stops that day and would call me to let me know when he was coming. No call no show. I call the next day she is surprised to hear that. So she is either the most idiotic person I have dealt with or just doing this for sh*ts and giggles. I would say both. So since I REALLY need my fridge I ask when can he come. Oh we are booked all week, Monday 8 -12 is the next opening. So I laughed and said Is he really gonna show this time? She said yes I promise. As you can figure out today Monday no call no show. I call and say he didn't call or show she says the service contract took my part back on Friday, HAHA. Were you gonna call and let me know I say. She says no they were suppose to HAHA! I told her how great it was doing business with her. So my new task begins.

HORRIBLE The woman who answers the phone is so rude and unprofessional. I had 2 apt and they never came . My dishwasher still isn't fixed I asked for another Company to help me. I would never buy another Bosh Dishwasher from Best Buy or Geek Squad extended warranty..

Zero starts. Go with another company. The person answering the phones IS extremely rude and stated that the appliance would be diagnosed and repaired for a fee of $125 (diagnosis and labor only) plus the cost of parts. The incompetent technician did not bother to diagnose the appliance and began replacing parts (seemingly at random), which they made me pay for. The parts they replaced did not fix the appliance, and they wanted to charge additional $$ to continue working on the appliance. It took over a month for me to be reimbursed by them for the incorrect part that they initially ordered. We went with the company because they were factory authorized, not sure how this happened since every review online for them is bad. Wish I researched them myself rather than taking the manufacturers suggestion to use them.
