Residential Rental Group

This is an awful company. They do not have the technology to allow automatic bill pay or online payment so you have to mail checks or pay to get a certified check every month. Their staff are incompetent and ave is multiple pieces of incorrect information regarding our property when we signed our lease. They are disorganized and did not have keys made nor did they know which mail box was ours. I strongly recommend you do not use this company to manage your property and try to avoid renting property from them.

I hope if you're thinking about renting from Residential Rental Group you read this first! I feel sorry for the people that already moved into the place I just moved out of.
When I moved in right before Christmas of 2012 it had issues from day 1.
Sink backed up, toilets backed up, we had to wait 2 days during Christmas for someone to come and flush it out, couldn't flush it and their was feces in the toilet!!! I kept calling them and they finally had someone come out!! 2 days later!!
I also told them the kitchen sink was flying up in to the sky when you turn on the disposal, they came out and blamed it on me! Let me tell you something, an issue like that has been happening for a while, it just doesn't get that bad in 1 week!
The carpet, which I complained about smelled of must old dog and my grandson was allergic the minute he walked in. He had several asthma attacks and then we had to move out.
However, upon giving them notice, they sent me an addendum letter to the original lease agreement stating that I would have to pay $300.00 for the carpet cleaning and an additional 300 for the repainting. Lots of other things that are NOT in the original lease were listed with dollar amounts.
I knew at that point they were going to screw me, so I went a saw a lawyer, who confirmed that she had never seen a rental group do this before in her career. She told me I should fight it. With her help I devised a letter and sent it to them registered mail and they never responded. When I moved out the place was spotless and yet during the walk through they tried to blame things on me that were already pre-existing my move in.
Luckily they didn't include that in the letter I just received of a break down of charges for me moving out.
They do charge an early termination fee of $1800.00 and I might fight that because I informed them several times that the carpet smells horribly of old dog, I do not have a dog. I have 2 cats, which have never sprayed, and yet, they are saying they did! so they took more money out to clean the carpet.
Funny how all my life I have gotten every single penny back from all of my previous landlords, with praise on how much cleaner the unit is from when I first moved in!
PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! THEY ARE OUT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WILL NOT TELL YOU ALL THE HIDDEN CHARGES UNTIL YOU MOVE OUT!

WORST ever landlords!

This is a horrible company to rent from. They are unreasonable and have poor customer service. We are land lords as well, renting because we are not planning on being in the are long enough to buy a house. If our manager treated our tenants like this we would fire them.
