Tremont Club

I live in this condo community and I would NOT live here if I could sell my condo. The builders said they would give three years of condo dues, which was just a selling tactic. The management company is saying the builder should have known and the builders don't care - they sold a condo. Not only that, they have a management company that is AWFUL! Dues have increased every year. When I first moved in the dues were $185 per month. They are up to $245 per month and increasing. I understand some increase, but not that much. Not only do they take our monthly fee, but they can't seem to get our streets clear of the snow until 5 pm on a snow day and then it is only half done. Maybe the snow plower is tired by the end of the day. Now, we are not allowed to park in front of our condo. They have provided two extra spaces for our entire street for additional parking. So, if I have five friends over, one person will have to park elsewhere - not sure where, but I am allotted four spots. Two in my garage - which are filled with my two cars, the two spots in front of my garage, the two spots that will hopefully be empty and that's it. You have the pool boss coming around bothering people who live there telling them that they can only have four people total in the pool area. Why would you have to tell the same people who follow the rules, the same rule over and over again? The fees for the rental of the clubhouse are outrageous and then the same pool boss changes hats and becomes the clubhouse boss who inspects every corner and micro manages the party. I have never personally rented the clubhouse, but I do have friends that did and they will never rent again. It's better to go elsewhere and actually have a party instead of worrying about carrying your trash out to your own car since the Tremont Club doesn't provide any trash receptacles. I will never move into a condo again that is managed by Real Property Management or built by Schottenstein/MI. If you can find a condo elsewhere in the city, do. This place is not worth it. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
