Lunada Mexican Grill & Cantina

First off, two stars is probably not fair. The food here is actually excellent and if it were based on that alone I'd give it at least four stars. This is the second time I've been here and the service is pretty awful. It's basically just a drop and grab procedure. They take your order, drop it off, and grab the tip when you leave. At least the first time we went the bartender (Jason?) saw that we were basically ignored by our server for the most part and ended up making sure we got taken care of. He was funny and obviously loved his job, so we had a great experience the first time because he was there. We were going to sit with him at the bar this time but apparently he's not there anymore. So we got a booth and settled for our drinks not being filled and wondering where our server disappeared to when our plate of rice didn't come out. My husband got up to go to the restroom and came back to say our server was hanging out texting on his phone. Nice. All in all, the place is nice and the food, when you get it, is great. But for our money, I think we'll just order take out from this place while it's still open, because with servers like that, I know we won't be sitting down anytime soon

Myself and two girlfriends stopped in for lunch first off the place looked nice on the outside and inside very clean and nice decor. So we ordered cheese dip with chorizo not to bad to much chirzo so I asked for just plain queso and the waiter asked why you don't like that but okay whatever didnt bother me to much so we were waiting on the food I had finished my tea and sat it at the end of the table and we needed more chips and he came back to drop off the queso then took off didn't get my empty glass a refill and didn't offer more chips had to wait till they brought our food out which I ordered seafood enchilada and it came with crab meat and shrimp I cut into it and it was imitation crabmeat and tiny salad shrimp this was not specified in the menu. I returned my dish and my friends returned theirs which was a burnt tortilla shell salad and very chewy grainy textured chicken. The ended up still charging us for the cheese dip and drinks even after ruining our entire lunch. Will never go back there.
