Dockside Services is a division of the Providence Service Corporation, a network of providers that includes more than 37,000 clients served from approximately 205 locations in more than 30 states. Dockside Services works with children and families using a team approach and all services are provided in the home, school and community environment. It offers a range of outpatient care, such as a service known as Voyage, designed for high-risk youth and their families. This intensive service teaches youth accountability and promotes their active involvement in the community. Clinicians work closely with juvenile justice system representatives providing close monitoring of community activities, as well as individual and family counseling. Youth are often referred to Voyage as an alternative to a more restrictive setting, and are given the opportunity to work their way out of the legal system. Dockside Services is located in La Porte, Ind.
