Astronaut Movers

I got burned by them, too. They put a crack in my brand new tile, then the owner said they couldn't have done it because that's never happen before!!! Save your time, money and headache and look elsewhere!!

Do not use! Run Far Far Away!!!! Use True Friends because they are the best around. I used Astronaut because they were the only ones not booked up, which should've been a sign.



I bought two hours, and they only give you an hour because the first hour is for their travel time, which would've been nice to know up front. I only had to move a kitchen table so I didn't figure it would be an issue.



The clock started, and they had me fill out paperwork that he had to read to me, which took 10-15 minutes prior to them starting to work. They loved to chit chat. They were really nice guys, but they weren't staying focused on the task.



We both left the pick up destination at the same time. I arrived to my home in 14 minutes; they arrived 34 minutes later. Then, they demanded another $100 before they unloaded the truck because the hour was up. I asked for the number to call somebody, but they office was closed because it was after three. So I asked for somebody else's number, which went straight to voicemail and the mailbox was full.



While I was trying to reach somebody, the guys weren't so nice. They were swearing in my driveway because I was trying to talk to somebody civil to discuss the issue.



They said we're only sitting here for another hour, and they were going to charge me another $100 and leave with my stuff.



So, I just had to pay them the extra $100.



Pros: The scheduling people were really nice. Nothing was cracked or broken. They showed up on time.

This is the third moving company we have used, and by far the worst. They did show up on time, nothing was broke, but the two gentlemen took their sweet time after loading the house up and bringing it to our new one, we were charged another hour when it was not our fault at all. They then stated the would not unload until they were paid again. There wasn't even any stairs. They were smoking on my property, and they said they did not make any stops when my husband left after them and beat them to our new home, and they showed up with some fast food drinks. The lady at the office was very polite though. They just need more professional movers! Will not be using them again.
