Hadad's Lake

Don't waste your money. From the ads and website it's pretty alluring but this place is old and grimey! There is trash and hair weave floating in the water. The water is dark green or some nasty looking color. If your child or anyone went under you wouldn't be able to find them do to the yuck! I can't believe the amount of people who got in, I was terrified of catching something. I also saw adults with beer in the water, talk about unsafe! The place has potential. It reminds of a camp that's about to go under and is in deplorable conditions. They need a fundraiser to fix it up. The bathroom is a nightmare by the way! You're better off going in the woods. I was so disappointed and you will be too unless you like swimming in trash!

This was my first visit to Hadad's. The website offered pictures that made mine and my boyfriend's expectations high. When we got there we were not expecting to have to pay a service fee to use a credit/debit card to get in (which varies in price depending on the amount of people you have with you). A good amount of people were already in the pools and on the "boardwalk". The water was easy to adjust to but not the trash that was floating around (not to mention a "lady's product" floating in the distance). We only spent about 15 minutes in the water and decided it was time to dry off. The small putt-putt course was free and enjoyable. The food was simple but good. Overall, I will probably not be visiting again due to the filth and the kind of crowd that accompanied us during our visit. Now our bathing-suits smell horrible.
