Nelons Feed

Love getting my squirrels peanuts from there. They are really nice to customers.

Saw the one star review and can hardly believe that could have happened at Nelon's Feed. I have been so happy with their service since a friend told me about their store. I used to buy at Tractor Supply, but I save money, they load the car for me, and they are always friendly. I think the one star review must have just been a bad day and bad communication. Don't hesitate to shop at Nelon's.

They have been very helpful with my family. We have bought from them for about 2 years now. They helped us pick out what type of food would be most beneficial for our GSD. They helped us with our puppies. They seemed very accommodating. Helped us to get the best products for our pups amd also save us money. The man there even wieghed our pups and showed us how to administer shots amd deworming.
One time in our 2 years, we had an issue with a bag of food. We called them. We took the product back and they exchanged it.

It's unclear as to whether the manager of Nelon's feed tried to intentionally rip me off of 140 bucks, or if he's just too stupid to understand what he sells. I asked specifically for rye grain (rye berries), which I've bought there before. He sold me rye grass seed in an rewrapped, open bag and loaded it into my vehicle so I did not discover this was not the product I wanted, causing me to waste 50 minutes of total driving time and gas money.



When requesting a refund, he argued for 10 minutes that rye grass was also a grass seed. In other words, he either really didnt understand that rye grain and rye grass were different (meaning he doesn't even comprehend what he sells) or he was trying very hard in an egoistic way not to be made wrong by attempting to cover his ignorance. I got mad and said, 'you sold me the wrong thing, dam it' and he threatened to kick me out of his store, 'you ain't gon curse in mah store'.

They are very helpful and carry a wide range of feed for all different animals
