The Half-Way Tree’s social club keeps residents busy from May to October. Our active residents can choose from a variety of activities. Some of these activities include organized card games, crafts, bingo, dinners and pizza parties, pool deck cookouts, musical events and shows, and Sunday movies. Our activities don’t always end during the winter months, just scale down a bit to fit the needs of our smaller resident population. The community clubhouse is complete with a full kitchen, piano, stage, and “book-swap” corner. Furnished with plenty of tables and chairs, the clubhouse seats over 100 guests. For those residents that choose to simply relax alone or with a small group, the outdoor pool and deck is available daily for soaking up some mountain sun, cooling down, or getting in some daily exercise. The tree-lined streets are a welcome and safe place to get your walking in for the day. The Half-Way Tree is often host to shuffleboard tournaments. Our five-star rated, indoor shuffleboard complex is another place to meet new friends, or learn a new way to have some fun. Immediate surrounding areas include Flat Rock, Asheville, Pisgah National Forest and the Great Smoky Mountains National Parks. Downtown Hendersonville is a wonderful place to stroll in and out of shops, galleries, and restaurants.
