Henderson Christian Academy

Our two year old adores her "school." She has learned and thrived while there. The facility is clean and very interactive. I can say that thankfully, she often returns home with washable paint on her shirt from a craft project and a smile. Better a dirty shirt and the opportunity to create, than a clean one without learning. The staff is patient and well trained. It has great security as well.

I would like to speak for all of the teachers when I say what you all have to deal with is not right. The people who run this place think all of the parents don't know what goes on well I've got news for you HCA we all know what goes on in that place because all the teachers and parents talk to one another and you wonder why we want to pull our kids out of there. Did you know that most of us parents love to get together and talk about all the stuff we hear and see about what goes on in this place. We don't stay because of YOU we stay because of the teachers they work hard and love what they do but it's sad how unappreciated they are. It's sad that you do not know how to run your business and your only concern is to make money. I don't know how many times I've picked up my child and the teachers are out of ratio yes they are able to handle it but they shouldn't have to all it takes is that one time for something to happen to a child and who's going to get the blame the teachers while it should be the people running this place. QRIS should be in there more often. You need to get more people in there quit thinking about the dollar signs and make this a great place to work for. Don't have your teachers so stressed out it's not fair for all the hard work they do. No wonder why you have people wanting to quit because no one is truly happy there and the way the people who run this place talk to there teachers it is just crazy I would not work for a place where the boss talks to me this way. You call yourselves professionals well start acting like it! To all the teachers still working there just know that we us parents do appreciate all your hard work that you do and to all the teachers who are no longer there you are better off somewhere else in fact all of you are. You should not be treated the way that you do it isn't right. HCA please get your act together

Both of my children have thrived in this school. My daughter was well prepared for kindergarten and my toddler so loves it there.

Our boys have been going to this school since they were 4 months old (including when the Angels Christian Academy branch was still open). They have beautifully transitioned from babies, to toddlers, to pre-k and to kindergarten! My husband and I value academic education and Christian values so much, and have found this school to be a perfect match for us! HCA's Kindergarten curriculum had set up an excellent foundation for my son's elementary years.

Oh, and the teachers are pretty awesome, too.

I would like to thank Mrs. Dimzon for her ongoing support and leadership everyday during the past few years. As the Center Director at HCA, I had the pleasure of working side by side with Mrs. Dimzon in continuing to fulfill the vision, goals, and objectives of HCA. I had the opportunity to guide, and learn from some of the most outstanding and talented educators in the education field. Henderson Christian Academy teachers create a warm, caring environment for every child, and unify together to make a difference in each child's life everyday. The teachers practice mindful, relationship based practices that supports every student according to their age and developmental milestones. I am gracious for the time I spent in shaping the little ones lives while working closely with all parents, teachers, and administrators. I have forever memories created at Henderson Christian Academy, and would encourage parents and families to visit HCA if you are looking for a educational foundation balanced with a nurturing kind environment.

Definitely 5-star rating. If you ever want to invest in your child's early education, this is the school to do it. The teachers are genuinely caring. Ms. Peck is the Pre-K teacher and she is awesome. Our daughter went here for Kindergarten and 1st grade, her teacher was Ms. Susan Cooley. She is by far THE BEST teacher you can ever ask for. Our daughter had to go to 2nd grade at another school (very sad), and she still talks about Ms. Cooley. Our daughter excels in reading and math at a 3rd grade level by the end of 1st grade. To top it all, the kids absolutely love her, enjoy coming to school and learning... this is a parent's dream and I know our daughter will grow up to be a smart and confident woman because of the foundation this school had laid. HCA is the only school for my daughter. I found HCA by reading the wonderful reviews on yellopages.com and I must say that HCA definitely lives up to the reviews. Our 1yr old daughter has been attending for 6 months now and I would not feel comfortable sending her to any other childcare provider. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. They treat each child like their own. Our daughter has a schedule and she is so intelligent. The 3 teachers in the infant room are ANGELS. They are always loving and the children just adore them. We love everything about HCA. My 1 yr old daughter loves everything about HCA.

Having worked at HCA, I can attest to the fact that the administration and faculty at HCA are very supportive of all teachers and students as they work toward reaching the common goal of education and nurturing their children and teachers. The facility is well maintained, and open communication is instrumental in keeping such a healthy environment. I strongly recommend HCA as a school to work in and send your child to!

I have to say that we absolutely love this school. My daughter has progressed and excelled mentally and emotionally beyond anything I could have hoped or imagined. They are so loving towards the children and my 4 year old has actually memorized verses from the Bible. Mrs. Baldinson is an excellent teacher . Full of imagination and creativity . We just adore her. She is positively a 5 star rating! They definitely stand by their motto "serving our families with excellence"

My husband and I chose this school because it is smaller and they can accommodate our 2yr old and 5 yr old. The school has a great staff. Everyone is so pleasant and really cares. Henderson Christian Academy is Bible based. We Love It!

I enrolled my son, who is 3, in January 2010. I did extensive research on many preschools in Henderson and Las Vegas area. After two months of search I could not have chosen a better place. My son loves HCA! He is an only child and has learned to share and the importance of friendships. He never cries when I drop him off on the contrary he is excited to begin class.

I did not realize how much he likes his teacher until a couple of weeks ago we went on vacation and he actually picked out a souvenir to bring back to his teacher Ms. Zimmer. It was completely amazing that he thought of her even when out of school. He was so excited to bring this souvenir back to her.

I am thankful for the HCA staff, as I see that they are truly helping me teach my child the fun and excitement of learning.

More then anything thank you for the peace of mind, I knwo my son is safe and happy.

my 2 1/2 year old son loves his school..its his first time to be in a preschool, its only been 3 weeks thats he's going here but its showing how he loves being in this school, when we get home after school i will actually see him singing a song with actions...just couple of days ago,heard him saying a prayer and says "amen"!really shows that he's learning something everyday...the staff are great,they will make you feel comfortable..the whole facility is really clean and organized...me and my husband are soooo happy with this school..its the perfect school for every child!

Our 4 ½ little girl thrives in HCA’s pre-Kindergarten program. Focusing on intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development, her 8-hour day is stimulating, varied, and nurturing. She wants to go to school every day (for even more hours!) and her teachers make sure she is challenged. The entire staff exudes professionalism and kindness, and the facility is extremely clean and organized. This is a wonderful investment in knowledge and the positive development of our child!

My husband and I are very happy with the care our 6-month old son is getting at the Henderson Christian Academy. The entire staff is extremely loving, caring and friendly. They are always concerned with the safety and well being of each child. Our son is cared for by an amazing nurse that is very knowlegeable and always stimulates him. He is already learning sign language!!! The entire school is very clean and organized. It makes it so much easier for us to know that our son has all these wonderful, good, and experienced people taking care of him when we are not around. I have no doubt we made the right decision choosing HCA. We definitely recommend HCA to parents that are looking for a friendly, safe, and clean environment for their children.

Last year, we had two children in their original facility, Angels Christian Academy. Our oldest child has now moved on to kindergarten. Our three year old is still enrolled there. From the moment that we first spoke to the staff at ACA, we knew we were going to be happy having our children there. And they did not disappoint. Before ACA, our oldest child was enrolled at another school and she was sick almost every day. This caused us a great deal of stress. During her time at ACA, we was hardly ever sick.



So impressed was I with the school, that I was seriously considering putting both my children in their newer facility when I learned that they were trying to establish a kindergarten class. I personally toured the facility before they gutted the building that had previously been another learning center. The previous center was not impressive to say the least. But knowing the owners of Angels Christian Academy, somehow,I knew that would make the space fantastic.



I know because my oldest in enrolled in track five in her kindergarten. That track has a very long winter break. We were too late in enrolling her in Henderson Safekey program. We did not know how we were going to work our jobs with a kid out of school. Then ACA came to the rescue. They happily accepted our kindergartner at the Henderson Christian Academy during the long track break.



When we took our child there, we could not believe the transformation. It was night and day. It is so clean and organized. The staff is cheerful, kind, caring, accommodating, I wondered how my child would adjust after she was just getting used to public kindergarten. But,she was happy everyday. She came home with wonderful projects that she did at the school. The only concern that I had was that she might forget what she learned in kindergarten during the long break. The next day, they had a kindergarten curriculum for her. I was really impressed.



We strongly recommend this facility to anyone who seeks a well designed curriculum of learning, caring, trustworthiness, and cleanliness.
