Affordable After Hours Health Care Clinic

Dr. Scantling is the sweetest Doctor Ive ever been to she treated me like family from the first visit and she's is amazing with all 4 of my children! She is very upbeat but tells it like it is in words you can understand (no Google needed) I wish more Doctors treated this way and not like a paycheck!!

She is very upfront, if she see's cows she calls em cows ya know what i mean... she is very kind, considerate, well educated and i trust her with my life...she is an amazing lady and we are all blessed to have her and her amazing team right here at a walk-in clinic. She takes care of my Bp, cholesterol, asthma etc...and manages it well...

I've been to Melinda for several different things over the years and have had a stress free experience each time. She has always treated me with the utmost respect and given any of my concerns her full attention. She is friendly and personable. It feels very much like talking to a real person who can empathize and not some drone who is trying to pump out as much drugs as possible to make money.

I trust Dr. Scantling completely. She's been my doctor for years. She takes good care of her patients and I'm just one of many who absolutely loves and trusts her. She makes sure you get the tests you need at the best prices but she's not rushing to run tests every time you turn around like some doctors. She actively works to keep your health costs down and since I don't have insurance, to find a really great health care provider, who does her job right, really listens, and saves me money.... she's a blessing is what she is. I've moved around a lot and over the years I've seen a number of doctors and she's the only one I give five stars to. I no longer live near Heavener. But she's still my favorite Doc and always will be.

I went to this clinic because it was the only one in town that takes my insurance and i needed a referal to a specialist. The doc was quick and nice at first untill i mentioned the medication that i take and the current doc that prescribes them. After that i was treated like a drug addict. the doc kept saying to me i cant write those for you. Even though i clearly stated that i did not need her to write anything for me i just needed to see a specialist. then the doc behaved as if i was not tellin the truth about my illness and wanted me to sign forms for the doc that diagnosed me with my illness. Then she said i would need to submit to a blood screenin cause she would not give a referal unless she knew that i actually had an illness. So the next afternoon i came in for the blood test and the doc was behind the desk and she very rudely commented in front of my son that i got around better than anyone she had ever seen with r a. I smartly told her it is due to my medication remember. During the blood draw the woman takin the blood was kind although i could tell that she was havin to look over her shoulder as to not get caught talkin to me. This was my last visit at the clinic. The way she treated me hurt my feelings so much that i stayed upset for a couple weeks before i finally called my insurance company and changed the primary physician to a doctor in a town twenty minutes away.
