Action Real Estate

I rented out an apartment from them that was infested with mice and mold. When I moved in it was durring the winter season. And the owners of Action Realestate

never told me of any mold problems which there where no signs at the time but I beleive they knew about them. As soon as spring hit the apartment became

infested with mold though. I told the owners of Action Realestate about the mold and they came over a day after and told me that it wasnt mold and that it was

actually part of the wall. the owner of Action Realestate left and came back a couple minutes later and said " You know what I think it is mold". The

owners of Action Realestate told me that they were not going to do anything about the mold and told me to just leave and I wasn't wanted living there.

But they did accept my next months rent check and asked me to terminate the lease in an email 30 minutes after I gave them a check for the next months rent.

There was also at least 4 holes in the wall leading into the living area of the apartment. Which because of caused mice infestation. I told the landlord of Action

Realestate and he told me it was my problem. In one of the emails I received back from the owner of Action Realestate he told me I was seeing things.



The co-owner of the compay Victor even tried using scare tactics when he came to my apartment to look at the mold and water damage. He told me if I wasn't

out by July 1st that he would be back with a sherif to remove me and my belongings. Even though you need to be given a 30 day notice to vacate the property and then taken

to court to be evicted. But I was out before the 1st of July. Just again shows you how they run thier buisness there at Action Real Estate. The first time he came

to the apartment he brought his stepson who is also the handyman for the company. Well Victor the landlord came in and just started taking pictures of me

and my wife even after my wife asked him not to. In the time period that they were there my wife and I asked both of them if they were going to fix the apartment.

They both said no. The handy man step-son told me " What do you expect? The building is from the 1920's and it's not worth fixing. "



I was given a dehumidifier to use and was also given a letter signed by one of the owners of Action Realestate that I would be given $20.00 for using

my electricity for the dehumidifier, which was not paid to me even after I asked them for it and showed my electric bill. I also have an email from one

of the owners of Action Realestate saying that he would prorate my rent for the rest of the month if I left early. Which when I went to their offices

they told me they were not going to pay for anything. In the following weeks I called and emailed Kathy Lutsky of Action Real Estate and asked about getting

the money for the pro rated rent and dehumidifier. After 2 weeks she sent me an email saying to come pick it up. I picked up the check for $64.00 7/18/2011.

When my wife and I got to Action Real Estate to pick the check up Victor came out of an office and walked up to me and said " you caused enough problems, and

now you are writing things on the internet and writing letters to the Zoning Board ? " . He then caused a verbal dispute in front of his wife and in his

place of work. Right before I left he black mailed me saying if I don't take down what I wrote about his company that he would put up a video on the internet

that he took of me at the apartment when he came and looked at the mold videotaping me in the process. SOUND LIKE A SCUMLORD???



When Victor the landlord and his step-son where there Victor told me that I was trying to pull a "SCAM" . I asked him many times what he ment by that in emails

with no response to the question. I only ever asked Victor to fix up the apartment and make it safe. But I think in SCUMLORD rules a tenent asking a scumlord

to fix thier place so it's liveable is a SCAM .
