Lake Chippewa Campground

My extended family just spent a week at the Lake Chippewa Campground, as we have for the past 5 years or so. I'm finally taking the time to write a review and share how happy I am with the staff and the campground as a whole. It is the cleanest, prettiest, most accommodating campground in the state of Wisconsin, in my opinion. You can have sites right along the water, as they have many many feet of lakefront. The beach is really kid friendly with a nice sand/lawn area, floating mats, cycle boats, kayaks, and even a logrolling device!

The staff, most of whom are obviously members of the owners' family, were always eager to help. I even enjoyed a chat with the person from Neenah who lives there all summer and keeps the bathrooms/showers clean. She spoke well of the family ownership, stating that they are always reinvesting the money they make into improvements to the campground. And it is obvious, because the amenities are endless. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place to camp in the Hayward area.
