Bay Area Jump

I tried them a couple times for short kids' parties in the past few months. First time, they were 1+ hour late. I thought it was a fluke since they received the 1998 Bay Area Parent Award. The second time, they were 2.5hrs late by the time I cancelled. Later, I found out there's a lot of similar complaints on Yelp and Better Business Bureau (BBB). This is actually the worst and most unprofessional experience I've had with a jumper company. First they failed to advise that stairs cost money and charged me a $1/per stair upon arriving and noticing stairs. Then they used a dolly to take the jumper down the stairs and let the dolly hit every single stair on the way down taking divots out of each stair (the house was a new purchase 3 months prior and the stairs were in great condition prior to hiring this company). When confronted they were not apologetic, were down right nasty and would not take responsibility for the damage to the stairs and maintained that we would need to take the matter up with the delivery guy (but we paid the jumper company and signed a contract with them, not the delivery guy). ????



Unfortunatley I now have to consider court as a recourse to collect the damages caused, as they also refused to acknowledge a written letter in addition to several phone calls. The least they could have done was apologize and return some or all of the $200+ they made off me that day.

We called last minute to get my son a Spiderman Jump house. We talked to a nice lady named Emma. She told us that she could get a driver to us with in the hour. I was so happy and when the driver came he set up the jumpy and it was like new and my son just loved it. I would highly recommend this company and use them in the future.
