Whiskey Creek Wood Fire Grill

The atmosphere was very good and the food was good but I have had better steak and mashed potatoes and my wife thought it was good also.

Whiskey Creek in Hays KS has always been on top of their game, but last night was even more impressive that they could uphold their rank with my family on such a busy night.



The best flat iron steak we've come across yet, and time and time again there. They are a constant 'Good Meal'. My guest had their "Rattle Snake Pasta" and it was according to them "Amazing- as usual", with its bite of spice. Dessert was a rather generous portion of a Red Velvet Cake, that neither my guest or I could finish.



W.C.'s bar selections seem to go on for-ever, but the So Cal Peach Tea ordered last night was the most memorable one so far. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in need of something different, something with a bit of southwestern flare.



The only thing that would make this a 5 star and not a four would be if they accepted reservations. (Although we were seated immediately, the host said we were lucky and the first the entire evening to be able to walk in and have a seat. And after we were seated, there was a line of seven or so. We had tried to call in a reservation and were declined earlier that evening, so it was as the host said- luck.)
