Love the Pallela. So much food. 1 order fed 3 of us with leftovers. Lots of fresh ingredients in all dishes.

Fantastic service and friendly atmosphere. Have eaten there many times. Never a bad meal.

POOR SERVICE: Staff and managent are very confrontational, they DO NOT appreciate your business, and there food is questionable. Zero Professionalism!

God forbid theres a problem with the food...they get defensive and tell you everything is fresh. I AM A BIG SEAFOOD eater and know what fresh seafood and taste and smells like....I ordered the Mariscoda dish with red sauce (which is what i always get when i am there) and when i took a bite out of the lobster it tasted soooooooo bitter...it was disgusting. i told the waitress and she yelled at me infront of everyone and told me it was fresh...she got the manager and the manager yelled at me too and told me all there food is fresh and what i am saying is crazy. i told them to smell it and taste it and the nasty female manager started sticking her finger in the dish and playing with lobster right while me and my family was eating...she told me that they will get me another one anyway....(i only took one bite and new instantly that the lobster was stale, i do not know why they gave me a hard time especially since i didnt even finish it. they acted like i was dumb) then they bring back another lobster and the waitress came back to me and told me that she tasted the lobster and there was nothing wrong with it...and i do not know what lobster taste like....she talked down to me like i was trash!! first of all, why would she eat lobster out of someone else's plate....shes dirty...and unsanitary. I wish i never went there it was a waste of money cuz they second lobster they gave me was chewy and dry and it had the pope all over it....but this time i didnt say anything cause i thought that they would verbally abuse me again....i wish that i could complain to the owner...but the manager is his daughter......she is disgusting and unpleasant with a nasty attitude....i would never go back there again....it is nice worth it.....i knew something wasnt right about that place since its right above the passaic river......they probally experiance a flood and gave me the lobster that they caught in the passaic river! I will post this until the get new management or run out of business....people like this shouldnt serve americans!
