Salvation Army Haverhill

Haven't had any interaction with them besides their pickup service. Actually, my review isn't for that service, because they never showed up. I arranged for them to make a donation pick-up at my residence for the Saturday after Thanksgiving because it was a busy time of year and the 1-800-SA-TRUCK service was completely booked for the next month. "Captain Jeff" and I communicated via email for a Saturday morning pickup, yet their truck didn't arrive at the agreed upon time or soon after that. It wasn't until I called Jeff that I learned his truck was being serviced. Jeff told me he'd call me when the truck was ready; a call I never received. I called Jeff again late on Saturday saying I'd be home for a pickup the next day (Sunday), and he agreed to let me know when he could come by. I even followed up via email to have it in writing. I called on Sunday, left a message for him while he was fulfilling his duties in the SA's church service, and never heard back, despite calling and leaving messages multiple times that next week. I'm sure they do great work for the Haverhill community, but don't bother with their pickup service; just book the truck online or call them, even if it means waiting a while.

hi this is crystal i have done salvation army ringing the bell every year its a great thing to do it helps out families that dont have food and so they can have a great christmas evry year i am hoping to do salvation army agin this year after i bring my application in torrow to social security for my social security card then i wait for it to come in the mail. i also love seeing the kids smile when i ring the bell it makes me happy to and i love singing for the salvation army i am such a great singing

Great Church and very Friendly! Lots of Youth programs during the week
