I bought a Boston Terrier from a couple in Havelock. When I looked at the paper work they bought the dog from Bills Pet Shop on rt 70 in Havelock. They had her for three days and posted her on Craigs list. I had her for three weeks and she died in my arms. She coughed and seemed to breath heavy and was tired. She started to cough on Sat afternoon and I was going to take her to a vet on Monday but less than 24 hours later she died. I believe she had a heart condition as she ate well and no digestive problems. Please do not buy any animals from this pet shop as they do not buy from good breeders.

Great pet store! We bought our lab from them. Very friendly. They will even negotiate prices on animals. We got $50 off our dog for in store credit and then even gave us a starter pack for the dog. Nothing but great things to say about the pet store.

The staff are very helpful and know exactly what they are talking about with their products and animals. It is always clean every time i go in there, if there is a mess they do see that it's taking care of immediately. I have bought several rabbits, hamsters and gerbils from them, this was 2 yrs ago and they have remained healthy loving and still living to this day!! I know many of friends that have bought puppies from them and never had issues with their dogs nor the cats. I know when they buy puppies from breeders the breeders is what holds them back on the papers, so the people below i feel for you that you had issues but remember they are the middle man, so they can only do with what they can. That's for anybody they need to always remember, being a middle man in a sell isn't always the best for the person but they have to also wait on the main seller just like with puppies. I have been going to bill's over 13 years now and the service just constantly improving to what it's been years ago. I would recommend everybody to them. Esp. since they are all under a new management and the employees are more helpful then ever!! so I would give them a 5 star any day just because even though it's a pet store it never smells like it (except in the morning but come on seriously anybody that has a noggin knows it's going to stink because they just opened so please don't complain be smart) it's always clean and well organized, the employees are more helpful and nice compare to pet smart or any other pet store ive ever been to, if they don't have a item or know about a animal or item they always seek to somebody who does. they seek for happy customers. I will back them up on it all!! :-)

they sold me dead live rock and refused to refund or replace. they have zero knowledge of pet care there.

WE ARE HEADED FOR BILLS PET SHOP IN HAVELOCK TOMORROW TO FIND OUT WHEN WE SHOULD BE RECEIVING OUR AKC REGISTRATION. WE HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES BUT IT DOES NO GOOD AND STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED THEM.

DURING THIS VISIT TOMORROW WE ARE GOING TO LET THEM KNOW WE HAVE SOUGHT OUT AN ATTORNEY TO HELP US IF THEY DON'T TAKE CARE OF OUR VET BILLS PERTAINING TO OUR PUPPIES ILLNESSES.

MOST IMPORTANTLY WE WANT FULL REFUND OF OUR PURCHASE PRICE IF NOT REALLY AKC REGISTERED. YES, FULL REFUND, SINCE THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING.

WHY, BECAUSE BILLS PET SHOP DOES NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES NEED TO BE SELLING ANIMALS AT ALL. THEIR ACTIONS LET ME KNOW THEY ARE DESPERATE FOR MONEY AND IRRESPONSIBLE BUSINESS OWNERS.

SELLING SICK AND TOO YOUNG PUPPIES IS NOT RIGHT. TO US IT SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW.

OUR PUPPY WE BOUGHT FROM BILLS PET SHOP IN HAVELOCK HAS BEEN TO THE VET SEVERAL TIMES. IT HAD DIARHEA AND WAS DIAGONOSED WITH KENNEL COUGH AS WELL. KENNEL COUGH IS HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS WITH OTHER DOGS. SO, THAT MEANS OTHER DOGS THEY ARE SELLING MORE THAN LIKELY WILL HAVE KENNEL COUGH AS WELL. WE HAVE BEEN PRESCRIBED MEDICATION FOR HIS DIAREHEA AND AN ANTIBIOTIC FOR HIS KENNEL COUGH. KENNEL COUGH IS TRICKY IT CAN GO AWAY QUICKLY OR IF NOT TREATED SOON ENOUGH WILL GET WORSE. OUR PUPPY HAD IT WHEN WE BOUGHT IT SO IT WAS NOT TREATED AS SOON AS IT HAD IT WHICH MEANS MORE VET BILLS FOR US.

HE ALSO HAS A LEG THAT WHEN HE WALKS QUICKLY RAISES UP WHICH MAKES IT LOOK AS THOUGH HE IS SCRATCHING BUT HE IS NOT SCRATCHING IT IS A DIESEASE THAT THIS BREED HAS WHEN NOT BREED PROPERLY. REPUTABLE BREEDERS KNOW ABOUT THIS DIESEASE.

IF YOU WANT ONGOING HIGH VET BILLS BUY ANIMALS FROM BILLS PET SHOP IN HAVELOCK OR NEW BERN.

I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MY HEART ACHES FOR THESE POOR ANIMALS.
