LKQ 250 Auto

Needed a steering box and power steering pump...gear box actually developed a crack and all the fluid drained out while 30 miles away from home and fluid drained so quickly I couldn't even keep putting fluid in it to keep the pump from burning up.
Rocky's in Mingo Ohio and Zattas in Wellsburg WV was a total RIP OFF on the steering box wanting average of 85.00 with a 30 day return policy when I could go to autozone and get a rebuilt one for 120.00 and lifetime warranty!
LKQ wanted a REASONABLE price of 55.00 and so went ahead and asked them to get me a power steering pump as well since it was only 30.00 and autozone wanted approx 60.00 after tax.
The drive was an hour away from me and got back home, removed all of the bubble wrap just to see the pump was broke... the nipple where the return hose goes on was completely broke off and no way to rig it...probably caused from how they tore it off of the vehicle or how they carelessly handled it while preparing my order. I did take a quick look at it before leaving making sure it was the one that fit my vehicle but didn't look over it with a magnifying glass because they told me how reliable they have been for the past however many years and have utmost respect for providing quality used parts.
So this not only made it that I couldn't get my truck fixed for another however many days until I locate another power steering pump when I NEEDED to hull lumber the next day for the Amish workers coming to start on my pole barn and so had to cancel it and now they can't reschedule me in for another month and a half , but also rips me off 30.00 since it's not worth the gas money to drive all the way back there to return it!
