Grace's Beauty Supply Braiding

My first experience at this hair salon was pleasant. My appointment was quick (about 4 hours) and the braids lasted about two months, which inclined me to schedule a second appointment. Although the final product was excellent, the interaction and experience of getting a touch up was far from it - a scheduling disaster that resulted in an unqualified stylist's attempt to braid my hair. Being led to believe otherwise, I was grateful of a solution, but at first glance in the mirror I was more than upset that I wasted money (on the hair) and time on braids that would have to be taken out anyway. Approaching this topic with the owner was difficult. The customer service was poor in regards to blaming me for her scheduling error as well as the increased cost (correct stylist fee) she should've incurred for her mistakes that I now had to handle because my hair was half done. Luckily, my office dress code is casual and I was able to wear a scarf during the 5 days I waited for an appointment.



As I said before, the final product was amazing. No thanks to the owner, but to the stylist. The steps taken to reach that point have formulated my decision to never make an appointment at this shop again. I recommend to you, if you've stumbled across this review by googling hair braiding salons, to never make an appointment here either. We put a lot of trust into the people that do our hair, and any experience that breaks that should be acknowledged.
