Country Boy Market

Stay away. This store used to have top notch customer service when Glen ran the store. He treated every customer like he actually appreciated their business. Since Glen has left and some bald guy named Chris has taken over, management has been extremely rude to customers. Service at the registers is terrible as well, I think it all has trickled down from the store manager's lack of customer service skills. The cashiers and sackers are more worried about talking about what they did last night at the local party than taking care of the customer at the register. That's if you are able to get a sacker at all. The last time I was there, the customer service desk paged 3 or 4 times for all help to come up front to help sack, not once did I see anyone come up.

I've been a loyal customer since 1982, but will no longer give this store a penny of my hard earned money.

The deli is the BEST. Always friendly. One previous review said that the new manager that took over after Glen left was not friendly. I have never experienced that. It sounded like that person had a "love" for Glen and maybe doesn't like change. But, Glen quit..its not the new managers fault. The store employs alot of teens. That is the common demographic for grocery, it is the parents job to teach these children manners not the store as another review indicated. I was sad to see to poor reviews. I have never experienced bad service. The store is always clean and friendly. The food from the deli is so good. The prices are very competitive and you get that "local" feel. Have you been to a Walmart lately? That is poor service. At Country Boy they make their best effort to get products you request. They are also pretty active in the community. In my opinion Country Boy is an asset to Harrah.

I shop this store once to twice weekly and have noticed the customer service steadily going downhill. I was in there today when a young man dressed in a skirt and heels came in, of course people noticed. but standing at the check out not only the lady helping me but the cashier behind me as well as the one checking out the gentleman and his mother didnt bother hiding their snickers or stares. My cashier even had the nerve to say something offensive to me about him and the cashier behind me got a phone call from the office and was talking to them about it. Completely offensive and awful, I will never go back to that store, makes me wonder what they say about me or my children.

they have great prices for a lil grocery store and the people are very helpful
