Sports Massage
Wendy completed the Massage Therapy Certificate Program through the former NH Community Technical College in Claremont (now River Valley Community College) and has been a NH Licensed Massage Therapist since 1999. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science - Health Promotion and Fitness from Keene State College. In 2013, she completed the Certified Intuitive Healer program through the Stillpoint Foundation. Before becoming the owner of Hanover Massage in 2006, she worked in a variety of settings including a day spa, chiropractor’s office and her own private practice. Wendy has also taught massage classes at the community college level including Swedish I & II and Sports Massage. It is her belief that an integrated approach to healthcare and alternative medicine is what provides the greatest results. Wendy describes her massage as therapeutic in nature with a respect for the interconnectedness of mind-body-spirit and how imbalance in any one of these areas can present itself in the physical body. The techniques she is trained in are Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Pregnancy, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Craniosacral, Basic Acupressure, and Myofascial release.
Hot Stone Massage
Heated stones are used during this massage to promote relaxation and sooth tight, sore muscles. The therapist uses traditional Swedish strokes while holding the stones and/or they may place them on specific points along your spine, in the palm of your hands, or between your toes to improve energy flow in your body.

Prenatal Massage
For our Moms-to-be we have a massage to meet their special needs. We start with a table designed to allow the expectant mom to comfortably lie face down. The massage then addresses the dynamic changes in a pregnant woman’s body and helps to relieve the discomforts she may be feeling. The goal is to support her optimum health during this exciting time.

Nicky completed her massage training through Oregon School of Massage, located in Portland, Oregon. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 2008. Before joining Hanover Massage, Nicky has spent the majority of her career practicing in a clinical therapeutic setting at chiropractic offices. Nicky believes massage can provide a natural remedy for many of life’s everyday stresses. She has enjoyed working with a variety of clients over the years and being a part of their wellness journeys. Her massage style leans more towards therapeutic, but she can also offer relaxation treatments and is trained in the following massage modalities: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports, Myofacial Release, Shiatsu, Prenatal, and Cupping. Cupping is a technique that uses special suction cups placed on the skin to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and releasing tissue adhesions. Nicky can include this therapy in any of her sessions.
