McNichols Scrap Iron & Metal Co

I recently did a clean up at my house and had a bunch of scrap metal. My friend told me to take it to McNichols Scrap and they would pay me. I did, and it was easy. I was in and out fast and the guys in the yard were really helpful. Best part, I got paid cash, oh and the kids even got a blow pop!

Well, I've decided to write my first review ever on the internet, as unbelievable as that sounds. But I am compelled to do so because of the service I received the other day at Mcnichols. Im far from a regular scrap customer, quite to the contrary actually. I live in hamtramck so I have a few options of scrap yards in my area. Ive been to all of them at least once but finally decided to give mcnicols a chance. And I must say, they were head and heels above the other three yards Ive been to.

I came in, and was directed to where to go immediately. They seemed pretty organized and the employees were easy to find and even easier to get help from.

The prices were competitive and some were even higher than anywhere else.

The best part though, was when I went into the front office to cash my receipt. The guys in there were very nice and even had me laughing a bit.

Sometimes a scrap yard can be an unnerving experience if you arent familiar with them or the clientele. But I must say that I felt safe, secure and right at home at Mcnichols Scrap. You can just tell at this place that its like those old stores who have been family owned for years, a place where the owner and employees know every customer's name and a place that wants to make you happy every time you come in. I think I have found my new scrap yard.

They are exremely rude and don't know not a thing about customer service. They are not willing to assist customers and will hang up on you if you ask them too many questions. I've never had worst service in my life. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them at all.
