Jeff's Remodeling

A tree hit my house June 2015. Jeff came and gave me an estimate. I accepted and he came to start the repair on the July 4th weekend. The repair was mostly finished. Just some minor detail work and a ceiling repair where his roofer stepped through. We had planned on Jeff coming back for more work so I paid him in full. This "Good Faith" payment would turn out to be a BIG mistake. The 2nd project was held up for a few days because my wife and I had thought we may move, and I almost had to buy a car. About 12 days later we decided to NOT move and not get a new car. So the 2nd project was back in play. In these 12 days nothing was done about finishing the 1st. For a month after we were in contact with Jeff about the 2nd and still nothing done about the 1st. We then thought about it and decided not to do the 2nd because winter is coming and we lost faith in Jeff. It is now Aug 2016 and some of the repairs have been done and some not. It's a year since I paid him and still not finished.
