I am a college student at Colgate University who is reaching out to anyone in the area that may need tutoring help in grades k-12. I currently tutor and assist fellow-students with writing assignments at college, but would like to expand my services to younger students in the area. I have experience with elementary/middle school teaching, particularly with students with learning disabilities. If you are looking for a trustworthy, patient, and kind person to give your student a little more help and attention than they receive in their school, I would welcome the opportunity. I have am able to assist with math, science, English, writing, and other basic subjects, as well as introductory level Spanish, German, and Russian. I have flexible hours in the afternoon and evening, and am free on weekends. Whether your child needs help temporarily with a certain assignment or project, or you wish to have weekly support meetings, I will put in as much effort as is required to make sure that they understand concepts, and thrive in the classroom. I hope to continue my studies after college to pursue and career in education, and rates are negotiable and fair. I can travel to your house or a location of your choosing, or if you prefer we can utilized Colgate's library and other academic resources here in Hamilton.
