        The TD Banknorth Sports Center, a part of Quinnipiac University, is a more than 175,000-square-foot facility that features arenas for university s NCAA Division I basketball and ice hockey games. Established in 2007, the center occupies an area of over 200 acres. It has a seating capacity of nearly 3,500 and features concession stands, merchandise shops and team offices. The TD Banknorth Sports Center also houses a private reception room that can accommodate up to 135 individuals. Quinnipiac University is a private, coeducational university that serves approximately 5,700 undergraduate and more than 1,800 graduate students. It is one of the leading universities in the United States.
