Water Valley Inn

I grew up right down the street from this restaurant. I can remember walking down to eat dinner on Friday nights. It is a tavern style restaurant with old time houswares hanging from the ceiling and walls. A very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. My standing order was always Chicken fingers and French Onion soup. They have, by far, THE BEST FRENCH ONION SOUP that I have EVER tasted. It is very rich in flavor, the bread that they use never is slimy after sitting and they put just enough cheese on to make you want more every time. There soup is the gold standard now when ever I am out for dinner. I now live in Ohio, but every time I come home, I have to visit my favorite restaruant. They also have a wonderful menu, including there fish fries. If you visit the area, it is a must. Probably one of the best restaurants in Hamburg NY
